Dear Friends,
The INF Congress 2004 takes place from the 27th. to the 29th. of August 2004 on the grounds of Valalta/Rovinj - Croatia (p. 368 HR-06 and p.372 of the World Handbook 2002/2003).
According the standing orders of the INF Assemblies, the following dates have to be observed for the Congress in 2004:
1. Invitation to the Congress:
According § 1 point 2: 6 months before the General Assembly (GA)
Deadline for despatch from the General Secretariat: 26th. February 2004.
2. Documents :
for example order of the day, list of ordinary members, reports and motions
According § 1 point 4: 3 months before the GA.
Deadline for despatch from the General Secretariat: 26th. May 2004.
3. Nomination of delegates by the Federations
2 months before the GA.
Deadline for despatch to the General Secretariat: 25th. June 2004 (Posting date)
4. Motions for the Congress:
According § 5, point 2: 4 months before the GA.
Deadline for despatch to the General Secretariat: 26th April 2004 (Posting date).
5. Nominations for the CC
According § 10, point 1: should be sent to the General Secretariat 4 months before the GA.
Deadline : 26th. April 2004 (Posting date).
Later nominations are also possible following the regulations.
This term applies also the nominations for the Legal Commission.
6. § 15 of the Statutes concern amendments to the Statutes.
Proposals for amendments must be submitted at least 6 months before the GA, which means the 26th February 2004 (posting date). These submissions have to be communicated to the ordinary members by the GS at least 3 months before the GA, which means the 26th. May 2004, by the General Secretariat.
All further specifications concerning the Congress will be sent to you on a later date, including the entire programme.
