No Topic Needed In This Thread - Topic-Free Zone
There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject! 
And so, drum roll please, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! In this thread, and this thread only, it matters not what the subject is, nor if there was a subject in the first place. So, what's new with you?

Tues. 8pm Eastern US time - Chat Reminder
Our naturist/nudist chat takes place every Tuesday after 8pm Eastern time. People from all over the globe join in, and we're inviting you to be part of this fun time.
Below are explicit directions. We hope you join us.
1.) Open browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
2.) In Address or URL field enter: http://www.paltalk.com
3.) Screen on right middle side will have <click> button to: "Download Pal talk for FREE"
4.) If not asked for download, "Click here to Download" in the left most top center.
5.) <Click> on save and put it on your desktop, where you can find it most easily.
Note: if using a dial-up modem, it will take some time but do not be alarmed; this Chat group is really worth the wait. The DSL or Cable download will be quicker. The file name is pal_install_r17704.exe a little over 5 meg
* The client program part works great with dial-up lines.*
6.) Close all programs and click on the icon of the pal_install_r17704.exe on your desktop.
If asked, install usual/recommended features.
7) The Paltalk program will add an icon to your desktop and/or start up folders.
8.) Connect to the internet and click on desktop icon. A mini window will popup asking for your ID or ask if you are a new user. <Click> on new user. You can use a nickname or even your real name.
9.) You will be given a confirmation ID sent to your e-mail address that is required for getting a log in.
10.) Use that confirmation ID and password to get into system.
11.) You will notice that the Pal talk window looks much like a messenger chat window much like Yahoo Messenger.
12.) In the center top of the Pal talk Messenger window is the Chat group, click on that <tab>
13.) Select the browse for all groups and another window will come up.
NOTE: you will have to <click> on the Adult consent in the upper left had corner to get into the groups that we are under.
14.) From the selection on the left you can <click> on Adult & drill down to <Conversations>
15.) You can find us under: Nudist resorts org (no punctuation)
16.) Most times the group usually starts after 8pm. The room is open only when a Moderator is available. If you don't see the group at 8pm, click on the refresh shortly, and it will show up. After you enter the group, add as a favorite so you can find it quickly the next time you
want to join the chat.
17.) Enjoy the chat. There are people joining in from around the globe.

Well, since nobody is jumping on it, I'll just shamelessly announce what I'm proud of since the last one of these (I hope somebody has more interesting things to say).
I've moved into my own place. I can't describe how good it feels to once again feel like an adult. Not only that, but I'm now back to being nude as often as I can. (I've also recently learned that detergents in clothes are nastier than I thought).
I also quit smoking about 7 weeks ago.
Now I'm bored. Someone else say something interesting. I want to hear your good news.

Good news - I still love the new car I bought last month. It's a Hyundai Santa Fe, comfortable, good gas mileage. Lots of room for friends and good enough cargo room for our trip to Oklahoma's Oaklake Trails for 2009 (that's 2009) AANR convention.
Glad you've continued to stay nicotine-free!

Phydeau....Congrats on being smoke free! My wife is one month smoke free today! Now, when we visit the beach, we don't have to worry about carrying around cigarettes anymore.
As a reward for her quitting, and our upcoming 12th anniversary, we are going to Key West for 5 days, and staying at a B&B with a C/O pool area............

I have spent at least one day a week out at the magic circle in Quartzsite az. Also joined TNS there.They are disbanding for the summer,but will be back in the fall.Had a wonderful time there and the people were wonderful and easy going.Looking forward to see them all in October............Old Buzzard

Cher, I tried to log in a couple of times in the chatroom (download and installation were a breeze) but I'm kinda confused about the time. You see where I live we have CET (Central European Time) and don't have much of an idea which "eastern time" you mean.

I've read in a few threads that others are having trouble finding a partner that practices nudism. I am having that same problem. I know this is not a dating site, but maybe someone has a suggestion? I have found one dating site that promotes nudism, but hardly anyone seems to be using it. I'm looking for a wife, not a "sleepover", so don't want porn sites. Thanks.

Be sure to take advantage of our Free Nudist Personals section. We have separate areas for couples and singles, and each is separated into family values or adult lifestyle, to indicate your general personality and entertainment preferences.

I have been following the events from Eldorado,Texas. Texas CPS has taken over 400 children. I don't claim to understand their lifestyle, much less agree with it. The Salt Lake Tribune is doing a very good job of covering this. www.sltrib.com/ci_8955155
will give you a basic understanding of the issue as well as a timeline and links to other info. These folks had built an entire town, School, church, homes. They paid taxes to the town but, used no services. It seems the person who called claiming to be a 15 y.o. girl living in Texas, may be a 36 y.o. woman living in CO.
I don't know how much interest there is among our members. I, like some of you have had dealings with the government agencies (the name varies by state) reguarding children.

Northwest, I too tried some nudist sites and failed too hook up with a female however I was not looking for romance. Several homosexual men made proposals! I didn't try any of the non-free sites.
