Posted - 01/15/2004 : 1:04:49 PM How often do you shave entirely smooth? Is is every day, a few times a year, never? Let's find out how many stay smooth, and how often!
For the purposes of this question, it matters not what method you use to "shave", whether gels, razors, tweezers, or waxing.
So the question is:
How often do you shave entirely smooth in the pubic area? |

Posted - 10/16/2020 : 11:14:06 PM i would also like to say when getting smooth was suppose to be a fad among nudist back in the late 80's early 90's here we are 30+ years later and i think it's even more common from what i see at camp and nude beaches . |

Posted - 10/16/2020 : 11:10:00 PM for those interested mine is a norelco bodygroomer ive had it for years it does a awesome job in my opinion , ive have been totally smooth for maybe 15 years so the more you shave the slower hair returns back or at least for me . i also wasn't a bear like some guys but had enough hair if that makes sense but once a week i step out on back porch my bodygroomer is rechargeable and takes me about 15 minutes yes i slow and use caution around my penis and balls just saying nicks hurt and happen occasionally.

Posted - 08/09/2020 : 2:02:21 PM Fire Prof, thanks for sharing the story about your family. We do not see many of these and it is nice to hear more about family times. I do agree, in that it is up to each person as to if they want to be clean shaven or not! |

My wife used to be one of those people who used to say: "Not me; I'm never shaving, I'm a natural gal!" A few nudist trips later, before heading out to the resort, she says: "You know what...I think I want to shave before we go..." lol!
Shaving/trimming is now pretty much entrenched in the nudist culture. So much so that even my "anti-shaving" wife reconsidered her "position" in order to feel that she "fit in" better.
We're lazy people though. Keeping it smooth presents too much of a "commitment" for us lol! So we generally "pass the clippers" before heading out and "mow it all down" to a shadow.
Way back in '09, we visited Club O with our family. Our daughters wanted to experience day trips to our nude beach, our club and a favorite local resort. They wanted to not only see what it was like but also wanted to see "what customs they would encounter." What they saw was that the vast majority of those visiting these sites didn't sport any pubic hair and if they did, it was quite minimal.
They both had pubic hair their first visit to our nude beach but a few visits later, they'd begun removing it. They were both smooth by the time they visited our club and the resort. Several months later, we arrived at Club O and they said, "we fill like we fit in more!" hahahahahahaha
We explained that they'd see all variations and they just needed to do what was right for them. Though they aren't nudists like we are, they have said that being without pubic hair is their way of making a statement to being a nudist in their own way.
To each their own!

Posted - 08/09/2020 : 06:33:44 AM Yes, if anyone has a recommendation on a good body groomer let's us know. Our local stores no longer can get the Magic Shave I've always used. I have found it online but prices are higher than I'd been paying. Since I'm now doing a full body shave it's probably smarter to buy a good shaver |

So, do you have a recommendation for a body groomer? For me, it's not nose to toes because the Prof likes some of my body hair. Chest, upper arms, back, butt, upper legs pubic area... that's what I usually go smooth or mow it down pretty short.

Their objection to shaving centered around me wanting to be an exhibitionist or encouraging an unnatural appearance to the body. C'mon, I'm a nude model. How many nude models present an uncontrolled bush? While I respect others that prefer the natural look, it doesn't give them an edge of superiority that permits criticism of others.

Hear Hear!! Been my argument for over 40 years that my wife and I have been shaved and smooth!

Posted - 03/23/2020 : 07:10:47 AM I normally shave all hair from my body from under the chin downwards but over the winter I had let it grow. Having bought a body grooming shaver I have got rid of it in readiness for the warmer summer days to come and really feel clean again. I do like being smooth.

Posted - 08/23/2019 : 4:40:47 PM Full body shave annually, immediately prior to initial tanning exposure. Afterwards, genitally only, once to twice weekly throughout the tanning season.

Posted - 08/23/2019 : 3:42:53 PM Hi ddoger, I'm not familiar with epilating. I sort of know the term, but not what device is used, etc. Sounds interesting. |

Posted - 08/23/2019 : 09:41:09 AM I’ve been successfully epilating for 15 years. give the same results as a Brazilian wax. It took DW about 5 years to muster up the courage to try it and now she does the same. She epilates from the waist down to her ankles. I’m not a very hairy guy, so it’s not much of job to do. I can go 4-6 weeks between required maintenance. I do from the neck to my elbows and to my knees.
