In late Feb 2004 we moved our website to an entirely different server, set up with the new Microsoft Server 2003 platform.
There are still a few bugs left to track down. If you're now seeing any malfunction in any part of the site please let us know by replying here. We want to get everything back up to full capability, and start to enjoy the additional speed and versatility of this powerful server.
It helps alot when you include the exact error message, and describe exactly what you were trying to do when it occurred.

You guys and girls are the best for letting me know about it. It was most likely a problem with the server, but apparently they have fixed it. It seems pretty zippy at the moment. |

Pages loading slowly the last two days ... seems better now. Desktop/Windows/IE

Seems to be really slow on iPhone and iPad...Mac desktop is fine.

The site has been abnormally slow to respond for the past week or so. Is there a problem with the server? Or is it just me? |

It's working today, but not always. I haven't done anything new or different. Usually I'm naked when I login, today I'm clothed and it works. Now I'm really at a loss as to what's happening. Thanks for your help.

Charlie, I just saw this post. Sorry for the delay. It's the first time anyone has reported this. Has anyone else had this problem?
I use a Samsung android tablet, but I have not noticed any problems. Let's see if anyone else has. |

Hmm, that is a different problem - beyond my ability to answer, Dleatr. I don't have that problem myself on this forum. I wonder if there is an app you could download to your tablet to take care of that problem. Just an uneducated thought.

One thing I might say is that Admin cannot be everywhere all the time. Not possible. I occasionally send a message to him about spammers, but only because I happen to run into them, and not because I'm omnipresent. In one sense, it's our forum, just as much as a pristine Lake Tahoe nude beach is "our" beach. We help keep it clean and orderly, although we are not authoritative. In the same light, it's a group project to help keep this forum free of however short-lived spammers and other miscreants.

I usually use my Samsung tablet to read the forum. Recently I get a message when I access the web site where the listing of forums is. It says Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0009', Subscript out of range: '[number 1]', etc. The tablet's OS is Android. Any suggestions?
