does anyone know of any place in arkansas where you can get naked without getting arrested? from what i've read, it is against the law to be naked in arkansas. however there are 2 nudist resorts in oklahoma. but they are too far from arkansas to visit often. i wish there was a place close to arkansas maybe lake tenkiller, kerr lake, wister etc. if anyone knows of anywhere close to w.central arkansas please let me know, mark

Information that I found on nudistlaw.com about Arkansas indicates that being nude in the presence of a member of the opposite sex who is not your spouse is a violation of the law. It seems to me that this would pose a problem for couples living together who never bothered to marry.
It is also against the law to advocate, demonstrate, or promote nudism. I think this would run into Constitutional issues, but what do I know.
This is what is posted on the above website.
Section 5-68-204. You may not be nude in Arkansas in the presence of any person of the opposite sex who is not your spouse. It shall be unlawfull (sic) for any person, club, camp, corporation, partnership, association, or organization to advocate, demonstrate, or promote nudism, or for any person to rent, lease, or otherwise permit his land, premises, or buildings to be used for the purpose of advocating, demonstrating, or promoting nudism.
Pretty sad, isn't it?

We use a houseboat on Lake Eufaula in OK... have enjoyed company of couples and guys on occasion... we are in out 50's. Don't know if that is close to you? |

Don't know of anything in Arkansas. If you do make it into Oklahoma I stayed at Oaklake Trail resort last mounth for a couple days. It's a nice place with frendly people. The wife and i will go again when were in that area.
