I'm not at all LDS myself, but there is a somewhat more secular group that meets regularly. I will send you the information later today.

Posted - 11/14/2007 : 6:47:45 PM Hey everyone, I'm the new guy, and I'm looking to get together with y'all to have a good time and enjoy the company of friendly nudists near Salt Lake City.
NudistDoc mentioned a non-landed club in the Salt Lake area that meets often for get-togethers. I would love to get some information about that so I can join.
Anyone with information or helpful ideas, please write. Thank you!
Cheers,
Dade

Posted - 12/08/2006 : 2:06:12 PM Im with you Ndoc. There are plenty of places to go nude in Utah. On a road trip through the state we stopped at a few Hot Springs( cant for the life of me remember the names). We were with some local nudists from the area who showed us several good spots. The stories in 99% of cases, where people actually get into trouble involving nudity, always involve some sort of other charges. Such as ND mentioned. VERY RARELY have I ever heard of anyone getting arrested for merely being nude. No matter how conservative the area your in. The most the police ever usually do is just tell you to put your clothes on.

Posted - 12/07/2006 : 9:05:16 PM Oh, come on now, Moderator! You think we don't skinny-dip in Utah? We wouldn't let a few dozen pages of blood-curdling legalese spoil our fun. Just wait until the February issue of "N" comes out. You'll see.
Rex, there is a well-known hot spring in Diamond Fork canyon about an hour's drive south of Salt Lake City ... followed by a 45 minute hike. The water is plenty warm, but the sulfur smell takes some getting used to. Is it legal? Well ... maybe. You hear 3rd-hand stories of people getting rousted by the police, but I've never been bothered myself, and I doubt anyone has done jail time for it unless they were drunk & disorderly or misbehaving sexually.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, I can get you directions to the springs. There is also a non-landed club that meets regularly in Salt Lake for swims and house parties, and the occasional road trip. Send me a Private Message if you're interested. |
