InKansas, your first time will find you so nervous you wouldn't be able to get an erection even if you wanted. Within a very short period of time, you will be so relaxed and comfortable, that you won't have a problem. Go, enjoy but take LOTS of sunscreen for the areas you have that have not seen sunlight. Also, don't forget to sunscreen the inside of your thighs and between your legs, "up and under" ... from one who learned from experience.

The most important thing is he WANTS to come. By all means grab the sunscreen and GO! This might be your last chance. Teenagers tend to be he most difficult to interest in nude recreation. GOOD LUCK!

Have a nice NUDE day !!

The nudist resort I visit often has 3 to 5 boys in the 9 to 14 (?) age group all of whom seem to have a swell time.

Best Wishes, Jim

Really sound advice Barebill to anyone venturing into nudism for the first time. From my own experiences some 30 years ago, once the clothes come off in public for that first time, you feelso natural and relaxed that all previous concerns and worries just melt away. The same applied to my dear wife who just loves being nude in the open air.

I suspect that every man has been concerned about an unexpected erection when contemplating his first visit to a nude venue, but is seems to be totally unwarranted. Family friendly nude venues are not in the least bit erotic. I must admit that it was quite a surprise to find that being around numerous nude women at a nude resort aroused no prurient interests in me. It is much easier to dissociate sex from nudity that you think. The frequency that the topic of unexpected erections is discussed here would lead one to believe the "problem" is much bigger than it actually is. If you don't worry about it you probably won't have a problem.

Go out there, have a good time, and don't worry.

My girlfriend and I are also considering a visit to a nudist park. We are thinking about going after church camp sometime around my birthday. We are very christian so if our families knew we would be shamed. This is not what worries me though. What worries me is the whole public arousal thing. My penis has a mind of its own. I think I have this problem more than other men it is very random (i use to have to hide it while lifeguarding) Also the nudist resort we are thinking about removes people for arousal they are very strict. I would hate to have to walk around with a towel on the whole time because it's rude. My girlfriend and I have done nude things and I can usually control myself but I know I will have trouble in public. Also when I started dating my gf she was not very fit and didnt take care of herself Now I have changed her and she keeps herself healthy and drinks a lot of water but I soon noticed something. When my gf drinks a lot of water and gets aroused I can smell her from 2-3 feet away (with or without clothes) and it affects me. She really wants to go and I do to but these little things bother me. She lives in the country and does a lot of nude things and I have never been nude in public except for locker rooms.

Preston

(she also tans nude with her family around and they dont care but they would throw a fit about this trip)

BareBill, I have agree with you totally. The first time I went was with my wife. I had butterflys in my stomach all the way there even though it was my idea. We got there and just acted like we knew what we were doing. At the end of the day my wife had to drag me away and make me dress for the drive home. From that point on, I don't wear clothes every chance I get.

Well, it seems to me you first need to realize that there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. Nudism may not be considered normal to some people, but it certainly should not be the cause of any embarrassment. Like so many other emotions embarrassment is completely voluntary. If you aren't willing to be embarrassed you won't be. If you don't think there is anything to be embarrassed about, then there isn't.

In the second place, if you go to some sort of nude venue you will find only those who have preceded you down the same path to nudism. If you discover an acquaintance there, you will know his (or her) "secret" as he (or she) will know yours. Nudism is becoming more "mainstream" all the time. I doubt that there is much of a stigma attached to it anymore, but I'm unconcerned about who is aware of my enthusiasm for nudism, so you may have a legitimate concern about keeping the matter private.

If you wish to try social nudism all you have to do is go there and act like you've been doing it all your life. No one will know any differently unless you tell them, and I'm certain you'll really enjoy it. I had similar apprehensions before my first visit to a nude club, but it turned out to be about the best thing I ever experienced.

Having someone to accompany you would probably make it easier, but I did it all alone, and you can too. Having the desire to participate is actually the biggest hurdle you'll have to overcome; taking your clothes off and enjoying the incredible physical and psychological comfort is unbelievably easy.

Please let us know how your first visit goes.

Bill
