I hope this is the right area to post this. My wife and I are in our mid-20s. I've been interested in nudism for a long time and my wife is quickly warming up to it. We are almost always nude at home. We've talked about going to a resort/club/beach and my wife is all for it except...she wants to be able to meet and hang out with people our ages and is afraid the majority of the people there will be older. Currently, we're outside of the country but will be moving to South Carolina in a couple of months. So, I was wondering if anyone knew places in the S.C. area that is frequented by the 20's crowd. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

There are a few places that we have had success meeting younger nudist. The first is The Youth ambassadors program that the AANR sponsors. There is plenty of info on how to get involved at www.aanr.com. Also you might check out www.nudistclubhouse.com It is sort of set up like MySpace, but for nudists. Good Luck-

I have noticed the last few years that we have gone to one of our fav. spots here in the Northeast, Solair, there are not any young couples or groups. It always seems to be the same group weekend after weekend. They have even made the fee cheaper for the young crowd in hopes it will attract them.
Soliar is a very nice place. It offers a great Lake, pool, tennis courts, volley ball court, horse shoes etc.
We have been going there on weekends for the last 15 years, and we enjoy it immensely.
On Saturday evenings, they have diff. social events going on such as dances, shows, etc.
I hope that any of the young nudist out there in the New England Area, and New York venture to Solair.
It is only about 20 minutes of I-84 in Sturbridge.
We hope that we will see some new faces, and young blood this coming Summer.
Remember, we are only here for a short time, so let's have a good time!

I live in northern wisconsin along lake superior and down in the lake vally and I was referring to mazo beach.

I have tried to get my friends to join me but all of my friends who I have talked to are only intrested for sex and can't seem to comprehend that you can be nude without the sex (but then they are much more sexually minded then me...I am no pre-marital, many of them are pre-college (then there is the one friend who is no pre-marital but won't stop talking about it))

Hi Folks,
This is an issue that has been explored on many other sites, including this one, many many times. Unfortunately, the answer remains the same. Many younger folks who want to go to a club that has other younger folks, DON'T go because the younger folks aren't there. Thus begins the self fulfilling prophesy. SOMEBODY has got to start the ball rolling. There are many nudist facilities out there all over the country, most are singles friendly, some cater more to couples and families, but bring some friends. Cheri's organization has younger members, my club, White Tail Resort is LOADED with them, expecially on the major holiday weekends and at BEACH Fest. But if you're interested in nudism and you're of the "younger" set, then go out to your local club. Don't worry if you are in a minority. Soon enough other younger folks will find you and then you'll be all set. But too often what happens is my original scenario. Everyone else is waiting for someone else to make the first move.

What we need to do is create a network of younger nudists on this site, compare notes, and expand from there. Non-teens and twenty-somethings need to be involved with the process, too. After all, the retrospective of anybody that's been there before (whether 20, 40, 60 or 80) could only help those of us who are just starting to get our feet wet and our bottoms burnt! |

My first suggestion is that this is a good place to start. It's true that there seems to be a lot more of us "older folks" than younger ones in nudism, but several people in their 20s have seen and participated in this thread. With the ball rolling, I'm sure more of you will follow. Why not check the profiles and PM others in your area?

It's the link to Young Adults for Nude Recreation (YANR), a branch of AANR. Nudists of all ages are out there, you just need to find them, and YANR should be of great help to you all!

My wife and I are in our late 20s... also struggle to find "younger" people to hang out with... and also finding new places to go...
would love to get down to some of the FL beaches... I have been to Myrtle Beach, but never knew they had a Nude beach anywhere... will have to look into that. |

SC has several options for you. My club, Travelites has members in their 20s as well as 30s-60s. Depending on what is going on in everyone's life, you'll find a smattering of all ages at our events.
There is also Carolina Foothills in the upstate that has younger people as well as Cedar Creek in the Leesville-Batesburg/Pelion area. Then close to Myrtle Beach over the border in the Shallotte/Ocean Isle Beach, NC area is Whispering Pines.
