Hello, I am full time nudist and single mother. Now, my twin boys started having erection. I dont know what to do when they have an erection. When we visited their cousin at Christmas, got both of them an erection that certainly lasted over an hour. The cousin started to laugh, but the boys were very embarrassed and went to his room to host erection was over. What can I do to get erections to go faster over for my 12 year old boys. Help! |

Well it's normal and sometimes even in boy a bit younger.Unfortunately with me I was raised in a close nit christian family where nudity was not permitted.We moved to another community when I was 19 and I met a few cousins I never knew and a few years later,one of my girl cousin and I moved in together,she was 17 and I was 25.We didn't have transportation at first so she suggested we become nudist or walk to or save up money for a washer.At first daily and for hours even at work I would get an erection thinking about being nude.I won't suggest this for others,but it wasn't until we started sharing a bed and bath,nothing sexual or intimate,that I felt more comfortable and began to lose the erection.I guess it was the eviroment I was raised in and thoughts that cause them. |

Teenage boys with erections, it's natural, they are starting to grow and change. I reckon I had one for three years around that age, well maybe not three years but it seemed like it at the time. If we are all so comfortable with our bodies is this such an issue? Provided they are not making this happen and urging each other on or harassing people is this more just a case of some embarrassment? Let them run around and the blood will soon drain out or get them to go swimming in cold water or get them to lie down on a towel and roll over as someone else suggested. Teach them some ways to deal with it and explain some people may be uncomfortable. SBN. |

The ideal solution in my opinion is far from the easiest. People around a teenage boy need to grow up. How is that for a solution?
If other children are the source of laughter, you need to take them aside that explain to them what is going on with a male teen, and that it's nothing laugh at.
If an adult is laughing about it, well, that is another matter. At that point, the more mature adults should read the offending adult the riot act.
A teenage boy should allowed to feel normal if he is seen with an erection. This won't always be the case. but this solution will decrease the amount of harassment he'll receive. Effective communicating is the key.

This is not a problem any nudist parents that have raised boys where nudity it normal, non sexual and common-place at home.. come across all that much at all. I currently know at least two families with teenage boys that are nudists that do not run around all the time with this "rampant erection problem" that many like to say exists. I can honestly say in the last..oh say..30 years visiting mine and many other clubs I have seen TENS of THOUSANDS of naked people,literally..seen one or two erections. ONE or TWO. And Both of the men were embarrassed, turned on their stomach. took a shower whatever. and made it go away.
I don't know what other factors are contributing to these boy's or men having erections so frequently but it sure has nothing to do with being raised as a nudist.
From a nudist,pediatric nurse of 25 years, wife, mom, who raised all three of her children immersed in this lifestyle from day one. Whose two adult daughters are doing the same with their own young children.
Take my opinion for what you will:)

Not too long ago there was news stories about a part of Africa where young male elephants were becoming overly hormonal and causing problems. The solution was to bring in mature bulls from other parts to take control of the elephant herds. The old bulls soon got the young immature ones under control and everything went back to normal.
The big problem in this home is that there is no father to be a roll model and guide for the young men growing up. The real solution would be for the young men to live with their father(s). Despite her best efforts, a single mother cannot ever be a father for her sons.

What the boys are going through is 'quite' normal and is about as natural as breathing. They are getting to the point that they are getting into puberty! Mom needs to help the boys understand that having an erection is one of those signs that their bodies are getting ready to change. Also there is little that can be done to stop erections that might not effect the mental state of young people. No different then when girls start developing breast and the 'issues' they encounter. It is nature moving on.
It has been many decades since I went through this and the memory is a little fuzzy! |

Normal male bodies should not be a laughing matter for the cousin or the mother. When I was young there were rumors that the military secretly fed saltpeter (a dangerous chemical) to soldiers to prevent male body functions but that would be dangerous and probably doesn't work anyway.
What I would suggest is that you stop criticizing your sons for becoming normal men with normal body responses. If anyone ought to be criticized it is the mother and cousin for being sexist and critical.
