me and my wife differ..i like to be nude all the time and she is a little self conscious. but today was amazing..we slept naked (as usual) then we got out of bed and spent the entire day in the nude. it was so great. we cooked naked, we cleaned naked, we watched tv naked. it was amazing.

Very asborbing reading! enjoyed every line in the forum.
I have very recently, after joining the forum, started going nude more often at home with my wife around. she does not seem to mind it. and that encourages me to make it happen more often and for longer periods. Nudism is not an accepted practice at my place (country, city, community, home etc) so this has to be done only in privacy. I enjoy whatever little i manage . the satisfaction is greater of course if my wife is also around. She of course is a bit shy to be nude.

It seems many of us have the same problem with the wives and there insecurity or upbringing which taught us all it is wrong to be naked. We must all respect our ladies and be generous to there feelings and hope they will begin to cross over, even if it a little at a time.

As I contemplate my situation as a nude enthusiast, I can only wish my wife were more like me in this regard. She’s tried it a few times but has decided that it wasn’t for her. She liked it the first time we went but now she takes the position that she’s tried it and doesn’t wish to continue.
If only she were like me, we could really enjoy the freedom and relaxation that comes with nude recreation. We have so many clubs in the region and I can imagine how we could take weekend jaunts to the various spots with our camper, a few towels and plenty of shoes for various activities. I have found that every activity at a nudist club is enjoyable from swimming to taking a walk in the woods to cooking out by the grill. What a relaxation it is!! (I could even imagine playing golf nude)
I believe that women have so much to gain by being nude. They gain in the body acceptance area and I would think that getting out of the stiff undergarments would be a welcomed relief for any women with a full figure. I know how I feel when the gentle breeze brushes my body in places that don’t normally feel the breeze. The freedom is fantastic. Since my wife is such a social person, I could imagine how much we would enjoy meeting other like minded nudists as we travel around the southeast. How wonderful it would be to develop relationships with others just like we’ve done with people we’ve met on cruises or around the area at RV parks.
There are 8 clubs within a few hours of our home. Expand that to a days drive and we can add about 8 more. I would love to be able to plan a vacation where we could visit a club or two along with a trip to the beach, the mountains or even near a big city we could visit. We have the benefit of being able to easily fly for ridiculous cost savings which would make a 3 day weekend to California, Arizona or Colorado possible and very likely. Since we could pack lightly, we wouldn’t have to struggle with our carry on luggage. A few towels, a wrap or two and a change of clothes are all we would need. I could put everything I need in a shoulder bag along with my computer if I wanted to. A few motivational CD’s and some music and I would be in heaven.
I also like the notion of having something to share that is special between just us. To be able to get away and not feel the obligation to tell everyone in the world where we went and what we did. I would enjoy a little wink between the two of us when we told our textile friends we just went camping. The first time we visited a club, I felt closer to her than ever before. For me, it was one of the most intimate times of our marriage. Open, honest with a great deal of talking and listening. It felt like I had been to a weekend marriage seminar.
If only my wife could see it the way that I see it. Oh well, maybe one day she will

Wow, I was in La Jolla that same day. Went out sea kayaking to the caves. Then my wife and I went over to the parasail area and were going to hike down to the beach. She has only been to a clothing optional beach with me once, so I was excited she agreed to go to Blacks. But once we got over to the trail and looked at the hike, we kind of chickened out. We were tired from the sea kayaking and that trail looked long, steep, and it wasn't as warm as we would have liked for laying out. So we left. this would have been around 2 PM that we were there. I was hoping to go back another day, but the weather never warmed up enough while we were there to make the hike worth it. I was disappointed because I really wanted to spend at least one time at the beach nude and get her to join me. Maybe next year if we go back to that area, we will make another attempt.
We did go to Catalina Island and it was very quiet. Went to one beach and spent a few hours reading and enjoying the sun. I did lay out in a thong to minimize the tan line. That was as close as I got to enjoying some nude beach time.
The nice thing is that we spent much of the time in the condo we had nude. Once I got in the condo, I usually stripped down and to my pleasant surprise, my wife joined me a lot of the time. One day we had come back from the pool and she just stripped off her swim suit and spent the next 3 hours nude in the condo. I had sat to watch some tv and hadn't taken off my swimsuit yet, and she walked out of the bedroom nude and joined me. A half hour later I finally joined her nude. We spent many nights sleeping nude together and most mornings we ate breakfast nude. This was a pleasant surprise for me since she hasn't spent so much time nude before like this. I hope it can continue.

Well, Travis, you have shown that patience and a constant slight pressure, along with leadership, can do the trick. I hope your wife finds it more comfortable to be natural.
As for someone else cooking bacon in the nude, I never put clothes on my bacon. Really, though, I don't cook bacon because of the saturated fat and cholesterol that is bad for you; plus I like pigs. They're fun little guys, and intelligent, too.
Lots of saturated fat can make your red blood cells bunch together, which makes it hard for them to get into your capillaries. It can take hours for the blood cells to become free from each other and once again be able to freely get into those capillaries.
Sorry to ruin your whole day.  Try tofu(as if you actually were going to get excited about that!!).
So, Travis, you have a great breakthrough; an inspiration for a lot of us. Your wife now needs to get an account here at this site, to tell her side of it all.

She liked it too! We are thinking about going back down to SoCal this weekend to hang out at the beach but we're not sure if it will be warm enough. Do you know if Blacks or San O will be good in 70 degree weather?
Our story is pretty funny because we accidently stumbled upon Black's Beach. We were in La jolla checking out the Salk Institute when we saw all these people parasailing just above the cliff. We drove over to a dirt lot just beyond the parasailers and got out to take in the fantastic view. My lady said "hey, there is a beach down there with some people on it" (of course from the top of the cliff you couldn't tell that the people were all naked). So being the adventurous couple that we are we found the steep path that lead us down to the beach. We were passed by two seperate clothed couples who obviously knew where they were headed and by a few other clothed groups of people headed back up the trail. We stoped half way and contemplated turning back because we had no idea what was at the bottom. It's wierd that there are no signs stating that there is a nude beach below. Well, as we got closer to the beach we saw a few people that appeared to in swimsuits down by the water. Everyone else was so far away that you couldn't tell if they were clothed or not. As we ventured straight ahead towards the water, on this amazingly beautiful and empty beach, we realised that the people by the water were butt ass naked. LOL There was four of them, two men and two women. One women and man was fully naked, the other women had a dress on and the other guy had only a shirt on. I suppose that is why we thought they were clothed.
If you have ever been to Blacks you know that no one is going to just turn around and hike back up the moutain so we laid our blankets out and sat down in our swim suites. We looked around a few times and everyone was so far from us, even the people by the water. We were like a good 50 feet from anyone. Then all the sudden we noticed another naked man walking on the shore towards the people in the water. So we looked at each other and said "when in Rome!". Next thing you new we were there hanging out on the beach like it was nobodys business. Our trip was short and unexpected and WE cant wait to go back! |

I am not married but I hope that if I do get married my wife will accept at least home nudity at least when it is just the 2 of us. I figure between husband and wife there is nothing to hide any way and I hope if I ever get married my wife will feel the same and spend as much time naked with me as possible at least when alone. |

Hi:
Now that we are both retired, we are in the
"buff" 90% of the time. If the warm weather ever hits the Northeast, it will be 99%, since
we have to go shopping at some point in time.
Right now it is 51 degrees, and it is going to be in the 40's this evening, so the fire place
will be roaring.
There is nothing like it!!!
Remember, we are here for only a short time, so let's have a good time.

When i started going out with my fiancee, I told her I like to be nude around the house and she thought it was strange but it didn't bother her. When she moved in with me, she got more cusious as to why, I told her that it felt better than wearing clothes and stopped me washing as much and she slowly integrated it into her life and now she sleeps naked, goes to the club with me, and even prefers naturist holidays! |
