INTERESTED IN STARTING A CLUB?

AANR and its regional organizations have both landed and non-landed clubs. The landed clubs are the campgrounds and resorts with property. Non-landed clubs, also known as "travel clubs," meet at members' homes for swim parties, group trips to landed clubs, and sometimes to nude beaches. Often, when there is no landed club in an area, a travel club provides nude recreation opportunities to local nudists.
The national organization, AANR, has a club management guide with practical tips for organising and managing a nudist club. The AANR guide was compiled by AANR West trustee Jeanette DeRosier, and the section about organizing a non-landed club was first published by WSA, now AANR West.
For more information on starting an AANR club, contact Carolyn Hawkins at the AANR office in Kissimmee, Florida, at 1-800-TRY-NUDE.

Tommyjoe, go to www.aanr.com and click on "clubs" and again on the state in which you are interested. You'll see the current clubs that are affiliated.

I don't know anything about the Solar Bears. I am familiar with SnoBirds and Avatan though and can reccommend both.

From the AANR office:

In California 2 clubs received their charter -
SingleNudist.com and Southern California Naturist Association. Also in California, Living Waters Spa became a participating business with AANR.

In Ohio we welcome Hillside Haven as a new provisional club.

In Minnesota there is Solar Bearrs that received its charter.

From the state of Florida 2 more clubs received their charter. A warm welcome to Bay Bares and Tampa Area Naturists.

And from the state of Texas we welcome Castaways Travel Club as a provisional club with our association.

This information is provided for education and community discussion. Nudist-Resorts.Org is not affiliated with The American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).

The AANR also has a Mentor program of which I am a part. I've helped start over 20 nonlanded clubs as well as a couple of landed clubs.

Nonlanded clubs also have clothed events as well as possibly canoe, boating, sailing adventures on public lands where available and possibly get involved in community activities.

Regards, Cheri
