We began our venture into naturism at Apollo Beach last summer, joined TNS last fall, and are now considering joining AANR. It seems different enough from TNS to merit joining both.
Questions:
1. What kind of return address marking does AANR have for mail you receive? Logo? Address? Does it spell out AANR? I could not find this info on their web site and did not receive a reply to my email inquiry. Our privacy is essential.
2. I inquired at Cypress Cove about joining AANR through them. They do not do that unless you are taking out a Cypress Cove membership. Are there other clubs that will do this?
3. I remember reading somewhere that an AANR membership just taken out online is not as valuable to various club visits as a membership taken out via a local resort. True? Are the membership cards coded differently?

The AANR publishes a newspaper with color, a real newspaper, every month. It is fun and informative, a great summary of key news items and quite different from "N". For me, it alone is worth the price of membership.
My copy of "N" and of "The Bulletin" just came together in the mail. I find them to be quite complimentary. The only marking on the outside cover return address is "The Bulletin" and the address, just as with "N". There is no indication that it is an AANR publication whatsoever.
My main reason for belonging to the AANR (as well as The Naturist Society) is to support the work they do.
Dictatorships glorify costumes that define us as expendable parts of their command. Nudism expresses our natural differences and diversities. How important is it to support organizations that insist our bodies are wholesome, appropriate, and the seat of all rights and freedoms? How important is the truth to our kids. |

I've been a member of both since 1987.
1. Return address is only street address on your mail
2. I can facilitate you joining through my club, Travelites. We have @ 100 members in 19 US states and Canada. It also costs less than directly through AANR online. Please email me at cheridonna@prodigy.net and I can email you more fully.
Cards are not coded differently, but a club name goes on your card. When you visit other clubs, you're accepted easier.

The letterhead on the envelope just shows the return address in FL, without the organisations name.

They are some clubs that will. You would have to check around and see. I think Cheri's Travelites travel club does.

Not that I am aware of. My AANR membership discounts are the same. The only difference is the types of membership AANR offers. The memberships you get at an AANR affiliated club will have the clubs name list on your membership card.
