In Maryland District 38B, AANR wants to show the to-be-elected delegates that there are reasons to support our rights on Assateague Beach . In the recent Republican Primary, one of the two emerging candidates has in the past been less than supportive of the nude beach. AANR needs locations in this voting district to place yard signs. Will you help? If you have friends/relatives/property in the Salisbury , Maryland, area PLEASE contact AANR. NPS NEWS- John Hunter, AANR D.C. GAT Chair, reports that according to media sources ?Mary A. Bomar, President Bush's nominee to head the National Park Service, appeared headed for a quick confirmation as senators praised the British native Thursday for her professionalism and history with the agency.? Ms. ?Bomar was born and raised in England and became a U.S. citizen in 1977. She has worked in numerous parks, serving as acting superintendent at Rocky Mountain National Park and as the first superintendent at the Oklahoma City National Memorial, among other jobs.?
