Does anyone know of any unofficial nudist beaches in upstate NY...im from the watertown area |

Hello Happy,
You live about 20 minutes from the best unofficial nude beaches in the north east.
On lake ontario behind lake view marsh.
There are very few who go there so it is very private but you will have to watch for family beach traffic every once in a while.
let me know if you have trouble finding it.

The one at Lakeview was "officially" made NON nude in 2008. However, if you park at Southwick Beach SP and are willing to walk a mile or more south on the beach...it is more or less "unofficially"  nude. The further south the less clothing if you see anyone at all.
Besides, topless is legal in NY as long as it is "non-commercial" and keeping a towel to toss over the rest is no big deal. I have rarely seen a ranger down that far either. |

I've read of a couple of them. One is Point Au Roches which is just outside of Plattsburgh, and the other is Lakeview, which is north of Syracuse along Lake Ontario. I haven't been to either of them myself, but I'm looking forward to trying them out one of these days.

Its been a long time since I have been on but its nice to be back.
I am from the Syracuse NY area.
Looking to hear whatever information about official & unofficial nudist locations in the area.
Would also like to get to know nudists in the Albany, Rochester, and Syracuse areas.

Scotts Bluffs is A beautiful secluded beach in upstate ny near syracuse. I go there often and have met others who share my disintreast in clothing. Email for directions if ever in the area.

There is no public transportation directly to Juniper Woods. You might be able to arrange something with the owners Peg and Jim, if you could get to Catskill or Coxsackie area

This week is kind of packed, maybe next week...we'll see...
By the way, I wanna ask you if you know how to get Juniper Woods without a car from Albany. We won't have a car and want to go for the Open House event, I mean what train we could take, bus, or something else...

My sister won't let us work nude while she's there, but if we worked alone we could. And we can always hang out up there nude afterward, she's ok with that. What we most need help with is taping once we're done with the drywalling itself, which should be done within a week or so.
