I have been looking for a nude beach on Lake Hartwell in NorthEast Georgia. I have heard that there is one, but all my searches on the Internet have turned up with nothing. Does anyone here have any info on where a nude beach might be on Lake Hartwell, or where else I might search for information?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

We enjoyed T-52 last weekend. Couldn't be in the buff the entire time, but a good portion of it.... |

I'm looking for a place on Lake Hartwell to be nude other than the catch-as-catch-can odd cove. Is this beach still active?

Actually, there is. It is frequented by couples most days of the week. It is just about across from Harbor Light Marina. (I-85 at GA/SC Line) you will see Pontoon Boats parked there of the opposite shore, in the cove. I will get a GPS Location and post it here.

There were 6-8 people there on Saturday 9/13/03
and if you do not have a GPS, head east under the first I-85 Bridge (GA/SC) look for T-52 and go right (North) about 200 yards. |

I have had friends who boated on the lake and skinny dipped from the boats. I have heard of no unofficial beach there.
