My wife and I will be down in Longboat Key and wanted to know if there are any areas where we can be nude? I know of the resorts up by Tampa but wanted something around Longboat or Sarasota.
Is it best just to rent a boat and find a private beach? |

Thanks flnudist, I checked Suncoasts website. Looks like they're having a clean up day on Casperson while I'm down there. I'm not sure I'll be able to get away on that date but ,if I can,I may head down there.
Venice has always been one of my favorites in Florida. I'd like to see it if I can.quote:

There are no Offical Nude Beaches, Suncoast is a Non-Landed club so you'll have to check with them to see what they do. Most clubs usually have parties at members homes. Casperson's is all the way at the south end of Harbor Blvd which runs off of Venice Ave. in downtown Venice. It's not a nude or C/O but you can walk aways down the beach and it's pretty deserted so you are at your own risk. |

don't know of any near sarasota, need to go to tampa area lake como, paridise and some others. haven't been to sarasota since i was a kid i remember alot of old people living in trailers. now i'm old and need to live in a trailer. actually i remember sarasota having some beautiful beaches. |

Hopefully, I'll get better responce than the last poster.
I'm going to Bradenton, Fl from the 2nd to the 12th of November. The main reason is my neice is getting married. I was talking to my sister about my dilema in getting to any of the nudist resorts in Missouri and she told me there was one in Sarasota.
I've checked all the sites I could and only found Suncoast Naturists, which is not a landed club. Anyone on the west coast of Fl that can give me a heads up?
I was also informed, on another site, there may be an unofficial CO beach, Caspersen Beach. I can't find that in my atlas so I'm not sure exactly where it is in Sarasota area
Would appreciate any feedback.
Florida, see ya next week.
