Posted - 08/06/2006 : 01:30:03 AM There are several (very limited and obsolete) threads here about nudist weddings. I, personally am about 38 1/4 years too late for that event now.
But what about experiences at nudist funerals and related ceremonies? My personal health situation is unstable, and I am considering a request that Phi Nu have a get-together if I do die soon. Of course, I could last for decades, but there is reason for great uncertainty, including a bit of prior planning. |

Whatever your wishes are, make sure your next of kin is aware of them and put down in writing in your will, as Cheri says in the post, its legally binding, they carry out your wishes. You can GO as you please! Has anyone ever had a funeral or memorial service at a nudist resort?

If if your family is aware of your wishes, they can make other arrangements with the funeral home/mortuary. The best bet is to contact your local mortuary and plan your own. Cheri

Posted - 08/06/2006 : 10:47:17 AM At those nudists friends' funerals I've attended, the deceased were nude under their clothing.
Most were clothed in defference to their families.
I intend to be clothed in the outfit in which we got married (the textile wedding not the first one in which I wore only shoes 2 weeks earlier). My funeral will have a closed coffin as will my husband's.
