Posted - 11/26/2007 : 1:22:41 PM I first "discovered" nudism in my early twenties. I am much older now and still enjoy all that comprises social nudism both at home and at the local clubs. I could not find my interest posted anywhere else on this site so I'm making a new one.
Are there any of you out there, (and I invite the women whose spouses are in this position to comment as well) who have only one testicle and are nudists? I had one surgically removed about 10 years ago and the absence was hidden through pubic hair to a large extent. Now I'm in the process of permanently removing the hair for personal reasons and with the hair removed, it is more noticable that I only have one. I recall one man who, as I walked to the end of the pool to cool off one time at a club, was staring at my crotch rather than looking at my face, and I felt he was probably saying to himself, "Does he or doesn't he have one?". I tried to stare him down but it didn't work nor did it matter in the end.
So when you see someone like this, do you have any particular thoughts or does it matter? I try to ignore it though I can't always, especially in a large group such as a nudist convention or a winter swim night at a community pool.
Any comments? Naisy

Posted - 03/29/2011 : 1:36:41 PM I only have one breast due to cancer nearly 16 years ago, I find that people just don´t notice, they are looking at me as a person and not what I´ve got or rather havn´t got.
As a widow, I go to the local naturist beach alone but 99.9% of the time nobody bothers me and I am certainly not fazed about only having one breast, just glad to be alive.

Posted - 03/05/2011 : 7:39:33 PM I had a friend years ago that was born with only 1. While we were growing up we didn't see each other for a number of years. (his family moved across the country.) When we saw each other again and had a few drinks and talked about old times etc. He said that people would stair at him cause he really felt the need to keep the area shaved. I just mentioned to him why don't you have a Tattoo on the left side that says Cancer. He had a number of other tattoo's on other parts of his body. He said" I didn't have that" so I told him- doesn't make any difference. Just do it and no problem. He decided to do it and then about 1 year latter when I saw him again he had done that and said "That made all the difference"--People would look and didn't continue to stare or say anything after that. Best thing I ever did!!!!!. So if you give normal people an answer NO PROBLEM. Was it wrong???? yes but normal people Nudist or not only want an acceptable answer--If you know what I mean. as I said it was just a suggestion but it worked well.
If we were supposed to ware clothes then how come we were not born with them on???? |

Rahul is thoroughly on point here; people cannot help noticing something out of the ordinary. The telling point is whether they continue to stare longer than the initial moment of surprise. I have an ostomy pouch on my abdomen, the lasting reminder of cancer surgery 20+ years ago. On a nude beach, it is quite obvious (not at all subtle like an unaccompanied testicle) and I can see people's gaze go there - but usually move on after a few seconds. At first it was a bit disconcerting, but I no longer pay that glance any attention. The more honest reactions come from children, who are usually openly curious about new things. Sometimes I can hear them saying, "Mommy, what was he wearing?" or something like that. They are plainly curious, and I hope the parent can give them a satisfactory answer. But I pay it no more attention than every other glance of people walking on the beach, aware of one another's presence. Almost never does someone stare. If they did, I would disdain them.
So take it from Rahul - ignore it.

Posted - 09/09/2010 : 05:14:50 AM I think if someone notices you have one testicle and not two then they are looking at your parts way too closely. I think you have to look very closely for it to be noticeable. My little brother had one for many years and no one noticed. Actually we had no idea until we were told that he had surgery to lower the second one when he was a teen.

Posted - 04/02/2008 : 7:21:03 PM I hope I am not out of place speaking in here but I think I have something to add from a slightly different prespective. I am a 19 year old female to start and my boyfriend (not into nudism) has a similar issue. to make a long story short here both are retracted 90% of the time unless they are given a good reason to come out.. He was very shy about this as he thought it was "weird". I beleive that all scars, amputations, etc. can tell a life story. So I was curious and asked him what it was all about and no feelings were hurt in the process. We actually find them rather humorus here and there. |

Posted - 03/27/2008 : 6:52:29 PM I have two, but that doesn't make you a freak, your still a fellow and equal nudist human like all the rest of us. I used to feel like a freak because I liked (and still do) to be nude while no one else I knew even thought that you could be nude outside of sex. Now I know there are plenty of nudists out there, but I still encounter problems with people who are against nudity.
Nude and barefoot forever!

Posted - 02/19/2008 : 07:33:06 AM No one's perfect. No one should complain about anything someone else has or not.
Looking is somewhat involuntary though, even I when I along the street and see someone handicapped I tend to look. Humans are like cats: CURIOUS!

I had testicular cancer in 1998 and lost my left testicle. I have not been aware that anyone hss stared even though I usually wear a piercing in my scrotum ( why not! ).
Hover only having one testicle has it's advantages. I lead an active life and needed to wear tight underwear prior to the surgery to stop my testicles being trapped between my legs - this may have contributed my cancer! Now I can wear whatever underwear I like, usually none! |

Posted - 11/29/2007 : 7:06:44 PM I lost my left testical before I was married in 1969 due to complications of epididymitis. It never bothered me in fact my doctor said I would probably be sterile;4 children,7 grandchildren later I guess he was wrong. What I'm saying is don't worry about it or what others think. |

Posted - 11/28/2007 : 01:44:44 AM In my 50+ years I've never seen a perfect physical specimen. We all have imperfections or body parts that we wish were bigger/smaller/rounder/longer/darker/lighter or in some way different. If you accept other people for how they are they will likely accept you in the same way.
Go out and have a great day! |

Posted - 11/27/2007 : 11:14:02 PM All during my childhood I felt like a deformed freak because I only had 1 testicle. Then when I was 12 I felt pressure on the right side of my groin. I pressed down on it and my right testicle fell down into the deflated sack. It's smaller than the left one and women have commented on it, but it's not a big deal to them. |

Posted - 11/27/2007 : 5:26:44 PM One of the things I like about the people involved in nudism is that how one looks is not an issue. I have seen people with all kinds of missing parts and it just doesn't matter to them or happily anyone else on the nude beach.

Posted - 11/27/2007 : 01:25:45 AM I’d have to go along with Phydeau, Cheri,- all the posters actually. It’s really the viewer's problem if they can’t deal with it. Don’t make it your problem. Like I said, the option I suggested is just if it makes you happy.
