I am posing a simple question?
Firstly I would like to state that many people become sexually aroused amoung other naked people so....
Do nudists' mind (if say @ a nudist beach or resort) if there are "turned on" people walking around in close proximity?
do they find it repulsive to what is natrual in most people (reffering to my earlier statement).
OR
are nudists' relaxed and just accept that that will happed to some people
Or
do all nudists' simply have amazing emotional control and so it will never happen to them.

I am not trying to offend anyone and sorry if I may have been ignorant to Nudism. I would just like an answer; thankyou.

Arousement is an acceptable alternative, but not the preferred term. Did anyone reading this thread have trouble understanding his question?

I do not believe that "arousement" is currently a word. Arousal is the correct noun. But if enough people misuse the language, the misuse becomes correct. That is why I said "currently"

Be good to yourselves this week.

Habituation tends to lessen the arousal factor. My first few trips to the nude beach, I was quasi-mystified by the plethora of female body parts I was seeing all around me. And some form of arousal usually followed. A few trips later, there was pretty much nothing I hadn't seen quite a few times by then, so there wasn't any of that "expectation" Warmskin mentionned. I may have expected to see many nude people, but I wasn't expecting to be particularily troubled by it. It's not so much that you become desentitized to the view of the unadorned body, but rather that you no longer view it in a strictly sexualized context.

The problem isn't the erection per se, but rather "walking around in close proximity" sporting one. I'd guess that >90% of the members of this Forum are non-swinger nudists, and don't regard a visit to a nude beach or resort as an erotic opportunity. It's not that we have "amazing emotional control" - it's that the more experienced among us have made a distinction between sex and mere nakedness. Sure, it occasionally happens to me, but rather than wagging it at the passers-by, I sit down and cover up for a few minutes until things subside. Just good manners.

I wonder how many of the women on this forum share nicenhot's views. Let's hear from the ladies.

Lastly ... is "arousement" a word?

You have a two-part question. Arousal is good, or otherwise you would not exist. However, there is a time and place for everything, and in public, arousal are not looked kindly upon.

To me, arousal is caused by expectation. When I go to a nudist resort, I do not expect anything sexual, so I am not aroused there. It's more of a mental context than it is a phyiscal one.

Are you basing your statement on actual experience or just what you think happens regarding "turned on people walking around in close proximity"? In a real nudist (as opposed to a swinger) venue, this is not acceptable behavior. I suggest you search for the topics on nudist etiquette, arousal, and the ever popular erection threads. I think you will find out how we feel on these issues.

I'm sure I think I said what I probably meant, but maybe not.
