Posted - 03/31/2009 : 07:34:12 AM Hi Guys,
Anyone else experienced going grey 'down their'? It's not that I'm vain, but feel self conscious about it because I'm still young, and the hair on my head, well, it's got some grey in it, but not as much.
Any dyes? Are these safe? I don't like the thought of putting chemicals there. I tried a close shave but didn't like it. Any ideas?
Do you think I should be worried about it? I know it's silly...

Posted - 03/16/2017 : 12:45:22 AM Aesthetician/esthetician ... either spelling is acceptable, but yes ... these trained people do waxing, sugaring, facials, body scrubs ...
Usually you'll find these professionals in salons but I was lucky to find mine that has her own business out of her home and will provide these services for men as well as women.
I called a dozen or more local salons. One change salon is call European Wax and that's the one place I actually visited in person and got a "no, we don't do that" and then a cold shoulder. I looked all over the internet and could never find any of these places that listed Male Brazilian Wax under the services for men. By chance, I came across my aesthetician's website and called her. Been going to her every 4-6 weeks for over 2 years.
You'll have to look on the internet and find aesthetician websites and then look to see what services they provide for men. Regrettably, you'll be met with some silly, immature young women that answer the phones at salons and get the "ewww, no way to we do that on men," or "ahhhh, no we DO NOT!" I've even had one hang up on me!
But when you find one, like I did, she's well worth the hour drive to get my treatments done. I like it and so does the Prof. The pain is relative. I have a high tolerance for pain so it's more a sting but every time you go, it's less and less. The hair grows back more fine and sparse. A few more sessions and I'll be able to go almost two months between treatments.

Posted - 03/09/2017 : 04:02:18 AM Not sure about the chest hairs, they are fair and sparse plus just wizzed them off as I've had a few heart tests due to a recent incident where I blacked out. Those stick-on sensors are painful if you leave them on too long. The nurses joked I was getting a free wax. Still swear by the beard trimmer as an alternative to shaving, waxing or using hair removal creams which I did once and never again. Ouch!!!!!!!!!

Posted - 03/08/2017 : 09:51:48 AM It's inevitable ... getting older and all the things that come with it. Though my hair appears much darker than our friends our age, up close, there a many, many grey hairs weaved throughout. My once dark mustache is almost all white and my chest hair is mostly white but keeping in mowed down is both our preference.
We were out in the backyard yesterday and taking a break from the nude yard work and my wife glanced down at my groin and said, "almost time for a trip to the Aesthetician for a waxing treatment. Make sure she gets those white pubic hairs!" I didn't notice that I now have a few of those growing. I took care of that with some tweezers!
I'm not bothered by going grey. I'm more concerned about completing my bucket list of nudist accomplishments!

Posted - 03/08/2017 : 05:40:35 AM I get a couple of grey pubes but use my beard trimmer on the groin anyway so they stay short anyway. Don't like the itch from shaving, the trimmer doesn't seem to make that happen. It works for me.
Cheers, SBN.

More than 4 years later and it's still not grey. Some chest hair is now grey but still predominantly dark hair. It must just be slowly working its way south. It's still kind of strange though. I wonder why that is. |

I've started to let my pubic hair grow back ... NO not permanently, but to get it long enough to try waxing. I've found that if I did grow it all back ... it would certainly be more grey then I thought!

Posted - 07/30/2013 : 8:54:57 PM Yeah, I finally just decided to shave it all off, and I look 5 years younger! No wonder so many nudists shave...

Posted - 07/30/2013 : 06:38:21 AM I've been trimming mine but, surprisingly, my body hair is mostly the same as all my hair used to be. The head, at least what's left of it, and face are almost all white. I guess that's to be expected at 62.

LOL ... well, maybe! Chest is full of grey and the side of my head hair are getting more grey.
Arm and leg hair remain black. Pubic hair is definitely not thinning out. Have to shave every couple days to keep the stubble gone. The Prof had very fine hair anyway and is greying on top but arm and leg hair is very light color and pubic hair, between shavings, is mostly natural hair color!
It is strange how body hair doesn't change color all at once.

Posted - 07/29/2013 : 06:01:50 AM My wife likes me with the touch of gray. She says it shows that I'm distinguished and experienced, even though I'm salt and pepper and a little blond. Lost most of my hair and I am gray on top. My wife likes to be cropped short or bald, as she too has a touch of gray, but hides it well, though she has a great head of hair. |

Posted - 07/28/2013 : 8:22:37 PM Been shaving my pubes for so many years I can't say if they'd be gray or thin. Im bald and grey on my head. I know the wife thinned out and went salt and pepper but not so much on her head. |

Posted - 07/28/2013 : 3:54:35 PM It works differently for everyone. I only have one or two gray hears on my head and a few more in my beard. My pubes are salt and pepper. Why did my pubes decide to turn gray before any other area on my body? Who knows?..lol!!!
