Hi I live in North Carolina and the statute on public nudity states that private parts must be covered. My question is what besides genatalia are consdiered private parts? Being a male would a g-string or thong be sufficent on state lands? Of course I'd rather be naked but don't want to break any laws.HELP.

is a persons buttocks and or anus considered private parts in NC?

Bring on the body parts!! I still am amused that Homeland Security secretary had to make statements in front of the semi-nude statue of justice, and was quite uncomfortable with that. He might have wanted to put a bikini-top on the statue.

Of course, the fashion designers would have competed to see who would get to be the one whose design was chosen. And, how about the color? Passionate pink, mysterious purple, sky blue? This is no laughing matter; our security is at stake. <muffled chuckling>

Don't forget the millions of dollars spent to find out which color or pattern would be best!

There is a thong in my heart, as the fractured words go.

Well, I think I see a law that makes covering up farm animals' body parts mandatory. Hardy harr!!! Maybe not all states would do that, but California would, based on its new-found prudery.

Is it healthy for people to be forbidden to see the human body? All 6 billion of them?

Thongs are legal on NC beaches unless a commuity has a law other wise. Topless and a thong is legal for women also, and is practiced on some State beaches.

I can't speak for NC laws I live in FL and I'm a Law Enforcement Officer. But in FL whenever there is reference to a certain term like "Private Parts" at the beginning of the chapter that the law is in there should be a section for such definitions telling what specifically that covers. I would think that it's similar in NC
