Posted - 05/27/2005 : 03:14:28 AM On my last trip to the nude beach, I notice that some people had their bathers with them which they stripped down to, then out of, or put their bathers on when they were ready to leave. Others just had their regular underwear. It made me wonder what the point of bathers is if you're going to a nude beach anyway. I had gone their on the spur of the moment so I just stripped out of my regular clothes.
It made me wonder what people here do. If you're going to a nude beach, do you wear bathers under your clothes and then take them off, or do you just wear what you would normally be wearing? |

Posted - 11/21/2009 : 9:12:05 PM Bob, Playalinda is a nice beach, but don't let the antinudity signs spook you when you go. The county has put up signs everywhere down there but do nothing to enforce them and the rangers have no interest in bothering anyone as long as they behave themself. We like the beach down there and the only reason we like Apollo better is we like New Smyrna better than Tittusville.

Posted - 11/18/2009 : 11:10:57 PM it is always interesting to walk the nude beach at apollo you can see some strange sights and i guess its expected and if it didn't take a act of congress to find a ranger some sights should be reported, but in all apollo is beautiful. next time i want to visit playlinda and haulover. |

Maybe he was exuding the song, "There's a Thong in My Heart."

Apparently, Bob, he was not deterred from visiting that beach. That might stop a lot of people from visiting a beach, so more power to him. I don't know if I could get myself to go to a beach with a diaper on.

Posted - 11/16/2009 : 4:56:55 PM LOL ... Bob we've seen a lot of things at Apollo but never seen that.
Most people at Apollo don't wear swim suits to the beach, they wear clothes then strip and some have underwear, some don't.

Posted - 11/13/2009 : 3:39:59 PM If it's a textile beach, I wear only the swimming trunks without a jockstrap or built in mesh. It feels close to nude. Close, in this case, is not like it is in horseshoes or hand-grenades.

Posted - 11/13/2009 : 3:38:17 PM Swimwear has really gone the distance, now it can second as a hair tie. LOL!!
I usually wear a sarong to the beach and use it as a throw. I try to be as minimalist as I can and a sarong can be so versatile.
I carry a bandanna for cover at the 'nude' McFaddin Beach just in case the rangers show up. Again, a versatile piece of fabric that can provide many uses.

Posted - 11/13/2009 : 05:37:22 AM Usually just wear a top and skirt or shorts no undies or bathing suit. Once i had been to a textile part earlier in the day so had my bikini with me. When i left the nude area i just put my bikin top on pulled on a skirt and then used the bottoms as a band to tie back my long hair as it was getting windy. Thinking back onit now it prpbably raised a few eyebrows amongst the observant ones as we wondered back through textile land to the car!! |

Posted - 08/01/2005 : 02:31:34 AM Hello, haven't posted for a while. Anyway, went to Red Rock Beach (Marin County) a couple of weeks ago, and the only people wearing bathers were a couple of young ladies keeping their bottoms on. For me, I just wear T-shirts and shorts when I go to a nude beach. It's just too bad that at all nude beaches I went to in the States, you can't disrobe until you hit the sand !
