Damn, its a shame as we are doing the loop of NYC, NJ, DC, Monticello, Jamestown then up thru Maryland and a stop over at Assateague would slot in fine......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

AANR is still working on getting the CO status back for Assateague Island National Seashore, but for now, nudity is not allowed. I keep hoping myself. It's still about a 3 hr trip for me (just outside and East of DC), but that's an hour closer than Gunnison. |

bugger. We are going to a wedding in NJ and will spend a day or two at gunnison then we thought a trip down to DC as we havent been for ages , then swing south n east across the Bay and up Marylands coast, hence the beach. We have read that Assateague Island National Seashore, was a possibility??????/

The Eastern shore has beaches (Ocean City), but is quite a distance from DC...and they are not CO. That's why many of us from around the area make the 4 hr or so trip up to Gunnison in NJ. |

Check out both Pine Tree and Maryland Health Society. Both are on the East side DC and not too far away. On the West side, a little farther away, but not too far, is Avalon. |

o.k. you Marylanders, you have half of one....If I were you I will accept.... Agde d'ou etes vous en France? Moi j'ai vecu a Paris, au Maroc en Angleterre et maintenant au Canada. I heard a lot about the nude beach of Agde, is it near Cannes, as one of my sisters lives there. Next time I am there I could visit.
