G,day there i like every 1 on this site like to be nude all the time,i offten walk out the front like this but only during the week when most people r at work was wondering if other people do this or if im the only 1?

Living outside the city does have its advantages. Though I have neighbors on either side of me, one house is blocked by my garage and the other by shrubbery. Every morning I walk out to get the newspaper in the nude but it is also 5:00 am and dark out. I work in the yard and garage quite often and wash my vehicles in the driveway naked tt. I can be seen from the street very easily so I have to be careful. I reasonably sure the neighbors have seen me on occasion but its because their lurking around when they get their mail. The mailboxes are not visible from my driveway or garage so they have to walk about 25 feet down the road to look up my property. They have numerous times. They haven't said anything if they have seen. Personally I don't want to be seen. I'm not into being an exhibit. I did get caught unexpectedly a couple years back while working in the garage with the door open when a female from the census bureau walked up the drive. She announced her presents while standing right behind me. I quickly apologized And grabbed my shorts. She never made a scene about it but I'm sure she appreciated me putting something on. |

I, like most here, am not an exhibitionist. I just enjoy the wind and sun on my entire body. I usually wash the vehicles beside the house, naked. Just a small gap between the house and the garage to be seen from the road. My neighbors are mostly seasonal, so no one is home around me. I've worked outside all day in the back yard and had a good tan going. Even in the garage working on my vehicles is good, as long as I'm not rolling around in the dirt. Just this morning, I was putting things on the back deck, looked up, and my back yard neighbor was standing there looking at me. He's usually not here during the week. He didn't wave and I didn't see him until I was almost inside. He's a grown boy and will get over it. Too bad the winter is almost here, it's cold to get the newspaper in the morning. I gotta cross a state highway to get it, and if I go early enough, no traffic. So far, the coldest it's been to get the paper was 9 degrees (F). It was a quick 2 minutes.
Never had a problem anywhere outside the house. We camp at a small lake that is run by the Corps of Engineers. I'm sure, if they saw us nude, they would say something. Hiking in the national forest naked is illegal. ( supervisors policy ) Usually if someone sees you they walk on by or if a forest service employee sees you, they just tell you to get dressed. No one has ever been busted in this forest of nudity.
And the C/O campgrounds we go to is just too cool for words. |

It's aggrevating that laws are different from state to state. I truly wish we Californian's were as "liberal" as most people think we are. With OR and WA as our northern neighbors ... our laws and their laws are different and at least seem to be a bit more ... common sense based.
Maybe that's why "some" Californian's migrate to the north after retiring! ahahahahahaha
It would be difficult for us to move there and take advantage of more liberal and common sense laws toward our lifestyle but I know "I" could not take the weather for very long. The Prof could probably do it but I get a little too closed in when I have to be naked inside for long periods of time.
Our friends have adapted quite well but have lived up there for dozens of years. The weather isn't always cooperative for us to be naked outside on their property, during our visits, but since we're only there for a long weekend ... it doesn't matter. I'm sure I couldn't take a steady diet of that.
I should just count my blessings that our current neighbors, like those we left, are tolerant or accepting of our nudity in the backyard. I honestly try not to push it too much out front. I'm happy they are accepting.

In Washington State nudity is not illegal unless you intend to cause someone else fear or affront. The police tend to arrest people in town if someone complains, but as long as you are "intending" to mind your own business and not out flaunting your body on a city street or flashing drivers on a road they aren't going to bother. I also live in Washington State and will push the "minding my own business" sometimes.
Last summer I spent several hours mowing the brush on my drain field that is within sight of a county road with occasional cars and trucks going by. My mower made enough noise so that I did not hear cars approaching, and their attention could have been called to the noise as they drove by. Nobody complained. I get the mail naked, take trash out naked, and walk the perimeter naked. Sometimes cars or even pedestrians have seen me, and of course neighbors on both sides. As you say, when you act like you are normal, most people will accept you as being normal. Only if you act like you are doing something wrong will others think you road doing wrong.
Sometimes I go off my land to walk hiking trails or even bicycle paths naked. My only concern is being arrested, but its only illegal if it can be demonstrated that I "intend" to cause fear or affront to someone else. Hiking an out of town trail is a sign of minding your own business. It would be treated differently in the city, still. |

What I think is so cool ... is a close nudist friend lives on 6 acres in Washington State. They live up in the foothills and their neighbor across the street knows they are nudists, has even spent some time at their home, spent some time in the hot tub, nude, but the neighbors are not nudists.
The other neighbor knows and all he asks is that they not "flaunt" their nudity in front of his wife, who is very conversative. She also knows but if she sees them ... it's hoped that they are just going about their business and not standing at the fence wanting to talk, like her husband does with our male friend.
Because of this ... our friend goes down and gets the mail at the end of their driveway, near the hwy ... about 40 yrds from the house, puts his trash cans out, gets the paper and has even washed his car naked in the front yard ... without any problems or issues with the neighbors. Passing cars and trucks are going too fast to be able to see what they think they saw. Yet ... he is also careful not to "flaunt" his nudity.
There is a line that many of us won't cross. Yes ... we take some chances but we do what we can to minimize the chance of being seen or caught. Can it happen, has it happened? I think so ... but because we were just acting normally, did act as though we are doing something wrong ... I think many people just ignore it, are fine with it ... and maybe even feel that they wish they had the guts to try it.

I just started this summer to walk out front nude in the day. I did dare a couple of years ago, just to take my recycling bin out once. I will only do it before 3:00 or so, when I know the kids are usually still gone, be it school or camp. I will look out my front window first to make sure nobody is out and my neighbors across the street have their blinds down. Then I open my garage door and walk out and look around once more before walking out to my truck and jumping in and driving off naked. I just grab a t-shirt and shorts to go with me. |

I am fortunate to live in a neighborhood....that has no street lights...so going out to retrieve something from a vehicle...in the nude..realy isnt that risky...and I have only one neighbor to the west of me....who has any chance of seeing me nude at night...when I roll the trash bins to the curb....and with a south facing front..daytimes...I often sit out on the front porch in the nude...having a waist high dense hedge for cover from passing walkers/bikers...who often wave... |

over the years i have gotten a little braver, after housecleaning - always in the nude i will sometimes take the garbage out to keep from getting clothes sweaty .as for going to the mailbox i went once nude but a little risky so usually wear a t-shirt that just covers my butt or my housecoat that is pretty see thru especially in the sun. |

Wow ... since my last post, we've moved to this home. I have ventured out front nude or semi-nude for a few things. This current home lends itself a bit more to being able to do that. Not only that, but these neighbors seem to be a bit more tolerant of some of my exposure.
The angle of this home, as opposed to the one we sold and left, also lends itself to being able to see our neighbors and ensure that no one is on their porch watching ... before it's too late! Lately, I've doned my long shirt and plugged in the Christmas lights, fixed the lawn inflatables, moved cars around ... and yes ... even waved at a neighbor or two that I "thought" weren't there! LOL

I did in New Mexico but I do not in Maryland. New Mexico is much more tolorant of such things as social nudism while Maryland is like living in a police state.

I would never go out nude in our new neighborhood it is much to open. At our old place in Palmbeach gardens the back yard was fenced so it wasn't a problem.My wife wouldn't never yell at me but I don't think she cares for it though....frogger47 |

We also have taken the trash out at dusk and also we set out on the patio nude as the neighbors can see if they are really looking we try to be discreet as possible.

I have taken the trash out to the back alley early in the morning before it gets light. There are some street lights but the fence keeps me pretty much in the dark. My wife is usually not home when I do it, but if she notices the trash is taken out and I am nude when she gets back, I get a lecture.
