There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject!

The Cove has a large lake with a beach, but it's not the ocean.

Reno and Diger, thank you very much, I will check it out, and I am glad it is clothing optional, as my better half will not go nude....Also I would have liked a beach as I really enjoy swimming in the sea.

Cypress Cove is a great place, you should check it out. It's between Orlando and Haulover.

I would like to go to a nudist resort near Orlando, to rent a camper in the resort. Anyone knows a place?
Or a nudist resort near Haulover Beach in Miami, again we will rent a camper for one week in November.

One guy showed up at the scanner in swim trunks and they hauled him away. I think TSA just wants to visualize you naked, not see you naked. It will not be too long before they require you to strip even though they will arrest you now for stripping.

They should have a rule for air travel that any naked passengers can avoid the searches. Or, maybe everyone should fly naked.
Not long ago some guy got naked at the Portland, Oregon, airport when TSA wanted to feel him up. They arrested him and kept him in a cage for 2 days for being naked. Then they let him go because being naked at the airport is not a crime in Oregon. Despite not being a crime, the airport terrorist gang had slapped him in a cage for 2 days. They rule through fear and terror. |

I was hoping that we'd buy property this time but we ended up in a tract home again. It has been a pain in the rear to get our backyard private enough for nudity.
We had a neighbor that was fine with it. I was seen and waved to many a times but he sold and we now have new neighbors we haven't met yet. But ... the landscaping goes on on that side of the house where we are lacking privacy.

This is my topic: Am I a nudist?
Some time ago one member told me that I am not a real nudist, because I did not want to be nude in front of my children or other members of my family, except you know who...
Also I did not want to send him a picture of me nude.
But I was really comfortable at Haulover Beach last year, and I intend to return.
I swim at night in the nude, as I do not want my neighbours to see me... So am I a real nudist, or a closet nudist???

With fear and terror in our hearts, Ms. ND and I have embarked on building a house. Shady contractors, sub-standard materials, corrupt building inspectors, weather delays, cost overruns, Nazi HOA board members ... we're ready for 'em. But we've taken care of the most important aspect. We've sited the house such that we will have a nude-friendly back deck and hot tub. Everything else is just details. |

well if you worked in a jail or prison you would understand why it is a good law when someone brought in on a minor offense pulled a knife out from their butt area and slices your throat. not everyone gets stripped searched coming into jail, just those creating a suspicion for weapons or narcotics. go volunteer working in a jail for awhile and you will change your mind. |

That is a deep contradiction. Most Americans believe that "Conservative" is all about having less government, but police state tyranny is Progressive socialism, not small government conservatism. The contradictions run deep.

Here is a uniquely American contradiction. Thanks to yet another 5-4 party-line decision by the conservative-dominated Supreme Court, our judicial system, which generally criminalizes nudity, now allows strip-searches of ANY person arrested for ANY offense, no matter how minor. It makes for a nice symmetry: Get naked, go to jail; go to jail, get naked. |
