Anybody else celebrating their Independence from clothes? |

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 3:47:28 PM Our small BBQ and pool party was great but a clothed event as well Willy.
But when the last car left the curb, we ran inside to strip! LOL
The Prof beat me that time!

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 2:45:16 PM A friend of mine back home in New York always throws a really fun 4th of July party, so that's where I was this year. Had to keep the clothing on though. |

Posted - 07/07/2012 : 02:36:35 AM You can say that again Bob. Damn lucky! I did a aerial recon of the backyard ... A LOT more damage than we thought. They wiped out 1/2 their backyard, scorched 5 trees, 3 of them severly enough they will probably die and did get the eves on their house burnt.
What probably amazed them the next morning ... was the extent of the damage and the flames weren't outta control that long ... but it only takes seconds. It's a good thing the FD arrived to check it out cuz they didn't extinguish the eves that were smoldering.
I used to have a desk job for a short time while I was a Captain in a staff position. I had an emergency vehicle that I would drive to work in and I'd bring it home at night. One weekend a brush fire broke out while we were inside. The door bell rang and someone was frantically pounding on our front door. I answered the door in shorts and the woman across the street was standing there and she says ... "there's a fire over there!" I asked her ... "did you call 911?" She says ... "no, aren't you gonna go put it out?" "with what, my chevy caprice!? I went in and called, then I went over to see if I could help. Nothing against her ... most people just don't know and realize the power and devastation of fire and how quickly it destroys.

Posted - 07/06/2012 : 11:16:57 PM they were lucky fireprof, a few years ago we were driving in a new subdivison looking at houses when we saw smoke coming from the backyard of one than another and by the time the fire departmnet arrived - within minutes and doused the fire five house has pretty much burned to the ground. my first lesson was never buy in a subdivision when houses are stacked next to one another and second don't bar-b-q so close to the house. it's hard to belive these houses went so fast but it was a fairly windy day and the flames just kept jumping. |

Posted - 07/05/2012 : 10:29:47 AM The 4th was great fun. In the past we'd have had a larger crowd but it was just us, our daughter's grandkids and a friend. We had our pool time, then BBQ and it began to cool down so I lit the gas fire ring. Dessert and hot cocoa while sittin and chatting. It got dark and we left the fire ring and walked across the street to watch the fireworks from our largest city park. After the show we came home and everyone got ready to go home. The last car pulled away from the curb and we were inside and stripped immediately. We continued to clean up and still had the backyard to clean up.
While putting down the umbrellas, straightening the chairs, putting pool toys away, my wife yells at me. I come running and see our neighbor's ( across the street) backyard in flames! Instinct kicked in immediately but ... 2 things kept me from acting; recent surgery on my foot and needing to climb a ladder to get my gear down from a high shelf. It was a no go for me this time!Luckily, it seems it was a small bondfire that got WAY outta control with 30Ft flame lengths very close to the house. Yelling from parents, screams kids, a mother frantic and a husband yelling "get in the house." Somehow he got it out but then the boys in Big Red showed up. Not exactly sure what the home owners were told but the firefighters had to pull a line off and completely extinguish the fire the home owner thought was out.
Thanks to Mrs. Gravitz across the street ... 911 was called before I could get to a phone! LOL

Posted - 07/05/2012 : 07:04:57 AM Naked but not watching fireworks. There's a ban in most of the local towns due to the drought, so I was in the bedroom (airconditioned) playing games on the computer.
Did get some naked time on the front porch.

Posted - 07/03/2012 : 10:21:25 PM Love fireworks but not traffic so i'm thinking of baring it on the couch and watching fireworks on the Washington mall on tv, sure it's not in person but it's a spectacular show and last a hour or so most live firework shows only last 15 - 20 minutes and than the 2 hour bumper to bumper drive home. |

Posted - 07/03/2012 : 01:15:00 AM Wish the Prof and I could join you Doc but we're gonna have a house full of non nudists visit. They don't show up til 3-4p and I think they are all leaving before the fireworks start ... so the Prof and I will be celebrating a naked 4th most of the day ... anyway.

Posted - 07/02/2012 : 10:06:14 PM Nope, I have to work. . Plus, still living with my parents (I'm 20), I can't go nude as much as I'd like to, because my family is all textile. Aw well, I don't mind it. I make the most of it and enjoy being nude whenever I can. . |
