Today had two people and man and woman come to my door selling magazines or something, with a loooong speech about some group their with, I answered the door, no shirt and scrub pants, hanging very low on my hips. They didnt seem to mind me standing at the door like this. Other than nude, has any one else answered the door in something skimpy, sheer or barely covering....

i have a screen door and than the main door which is tricky because i am nude at home 99 % of the time and if the doorbell ring i don't dress but do the Nudony lean but if whoever want to hand me something i have not yet mastered opening the screen door and taking the item and remaining behind the door. |

We had a situation, "we", (us and our nudist friends we were visiting) thought about, then talked about and eventually laughed about.
This couple invited 3 other couples over for a nude bbq and pool party. They have a very private backyard, paddle tennis court, nice pool and hot tub ... very nude friendly.
They were both nude, as they told us later, waiting for guests to arrive. We arrived first and they slipped on something to answer their door. We came in, they showed us the guest room and told us we could get comfortable. We were unsure what that meant because they were still dressed. We undressed and came out and they were undressed. Whew!!!
The next couple arrived and they did the same thing, slipped on something, answered the door. All three times! I thought it was a little odd and when we sat down to eat, I mentioned that these types of gatherings can be a little confusing and uncomfortable because you're not sure when to get naked! We all laughed and thought exactly the same way ... that the host sets the tone and if they are naked when you arrive, it really sets the other nudist friends mood and they become more comfortable undressing quicker.
We ALL agreed that from then on ... whenever we were getting together, Naked ASAP is the what we should all expect and that the hosts will remain nude while greeting guests. The female host was relieved I had brought it up. She said ... "if I had to slip on that damn sundress one more time ... I was gonna scream!" LOL

There is a technique for opening the door nude. Which may not work if you have a bunch of glass around it.
1 - You place your body behind the door.
2 - You open the door, leaning to the left so that your body stays behind the door but your head leans in the opening.
3 - If you invite the person in, you step back, keeping your body behind the door and the door close to your body, using the door handle for balance.
4 - Once the person is in, your just push the door shut without moving your body.
I've found that when having a nudist or nudity friendly relative/friend over, it's just friendlier to just open the door nude and greet them that way - rather than covering up and uncovering again.

An afterthought-- I do answer the phone nude. What my phone was doing nude, I'll never know.

If I had a more private front door, and had a peephole so see who was knocking on my door, maybe I would answer the door nude. Salefolks would get the nude treatment! Sorry to any salesmen who are members here.

if in doubt who is at the door.....the towel is my choice as well....and depending on the reaction of who is at the door...will determine how long the towel is cover |

I have done it nude a few times but I at least post a sign on the door warning them. So for me its nude or I have done it with just a towel on which towels do fall. |
