To include a pic in your profile, you have to have the graphic somewhere on the web, on a non-password protected web page where it is easily available by its full address, such as:
http://www.somewhere.com/images/mypicture.jpg
Just include the full address of your pic in the box in your profile. Be careful with large pics, since some viewers will not be able to see the whole image. Keep it below 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels height.
If you don't have a webpage to upload your pic, you can send it to admin@nudist-resorts.org and I'll gladly add it for you.
For the best display in your profile, crop your pic to a square shape. Also, some filenames with spaces or anything but numbers, letters, and dashes have trouble displaying or uploading.
You can upload an avatar pic for your profile, but you may have to use Internet Explorer to do it, not Netscape. Or, just choose one of the cartoon avatars already available. |

Yes. It's not currently working, since that feature developed a bug during our upgrade to a newer faster technology. We're working on it.

I kinda feel bad posting this here being that there has been no posts since December 2003, but as it stands it's not possible to upload avatars using the upload feature in the profile settings.
It appears with the error "contact administrator for information". This error appeared after several attempts. |

Your profile picture, the larger one that is displayed in your profile, is required to be on a server somewhere. So the address you'd paste into the box would start with http://.
It can be any photo on the web, just right click and copy image location, then paste into the correct place in your profile. It can be a picture of you, or anything that represents you.
Also, be sure your image is not behind a password, like on the personal pages on many sites.
Or, just send it to admin@nudist-resorts.org with your username and I'll put it on our server and set it up for you. 
On the other hand, your avatar can be uploaded. |

Regarding pictures in your profile, does it have to be under a certain size to "stick" there? I've tried linking a full picture of me in my profile but it keeps regressing to a little box with an 'x' in it. What am I doing wrong, Grand Poo-Bah?

tucsonnude, to set up a personal members photo album, send a couple of example photos to admin@nudist-resorts.org. Allow a few days, and the Admin will set it up for you and notify you.
NUDEDIVER, looks like you uploaded your first photo album pic just fine. It displays full size from here. |
