Posted - 07/16/2010 : 6:47:04 PM I'm a young half Asian, half white American male. I first discovered nudism as a teenager on the internet. Perhaps three or so years ago. I'd always been taught (like ninety percent of other american kids) that nudity was a bad, sexual thing. Which actually helped lead me to nudism. I was being like any other teenager, and looking up things that were dirty. Porn. I'm not proud of it. AT ALL. And I'm not like that any more, or I wouldn't be here. Since I'd been taught that nudity was a bad thing by my mother and father, I assumed that nudists were dirty people. Which I now know is not true. But I started looking up nudist websites on the internet. I found several. Obviously, I found this website. I also found one called [deleted re: photos of minors].com and NIFOC. I also started reading about it on wikipedia. As I learned, I found that not only was I able to accept nudism, but that I kinda enjoyed being nude! So in the past three years, I've been kind of a closet nudist. But in a few months or so, I plan to join a local nudist group, a non-landed club called Roadrunner Nudists (I live in New Mexico, where nudism is nearly unheard of). Am I doing the right thing? I'm really REALLY nervous! |

Nudists are everywhere, but they're hard to identify with their clothes on. |
