Shalom. I regularly practice Jewish rituals in the nude and am the author of Sefer Digambara Pulkhanim ha'Yehudi, Book of Ascetic Nudity Rituals of the Jew. As a nudist, whether you are Jewish or Not, my sefer might prove to be useful and beneficial for you. I am reminded of certain types of Wiccan Nude rituals for the individual, but without the bowing and bobbing that go with traditions of reading ther Torah. While I am not Jewish myself, I studied Judaic traditions at the college level. back in the '60s, before I married a Jewish girl. I was raised as a Lutheran, but remain an independent Buddhist in spirit, altho my Wife is now an active Presbyterian.
It is said that the average American explores a half-dozen religious faiths in his lifetime. This freedom is one main reason that America is, of the modern industrial societies, the most religious by several measures. I live a half block away from a Sikh Temple, three blocks from a Jewish Synagogue, about a mile each from Moslem, and Buddhist esablishemnts, and, of course, have about ten flavors of Christian churches nearby.
Thank whatever version of God or Gods, if any, that you choose to believe in, that we all have that freedom here and other modern democratic nations. (The profile of YosTsef says Britain). |
