I just returned from a two day/two night visit at Squaw Mtn. Ranch, about 45 minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon. Nestled in the foothills 9.7 miles outside Estacada (according to Google mapping), this location offers a true Northwest experience for the nudist who enjoys a "rustic" experience. Clean, neat rooms are available in the main lodge (where I stayed) for those who come without their own accommodations. Snuggled in the trees, are permanent cabins (some for sale), RV sites and tenting sites of all sizes. Many sites have electrical and water available. 50 AMP service will soon be available for those who prefer NOT to "rough it".
I found the members to be extremely friendly and helpful. For those who enjoy the water, there are two hot tubs, and even a small lake for swimming. The grounds are well maintained, sporting various activity areas (miniature golf, volley ball, horseshoes, and much more. A playground is well kept for the younger children.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, but with plenty to do if you are one who prefers to stay active. Enjoy a game of pool? Come to the upper level of the annex and you will find a comfortable lounge area, kitchen, and, OF COURSE, a pool table for your pleasure.
