Posted - 08/04/2008 : 06:12:43 AM dragonfly and i, along with another couple went to maheso for the day last saturday. from our house in pa, it only took about an hour and 20 minutes. all highway driving. maheso is tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. the resort is somewhat rustic and very well kept. the president gave us a nice tour when we arrived. we spent most of the day by the pool. when we did venture away from the pool, we enjoyed the wooded walking trails that led down to the river and also a really cool suspention bridge. we had researched the resort online and had read an article on it in naturally magazine. while at the pool the people we really nice. we went with our friends so the we didn't feel the need to be social butterflies if we are not comfortable, but we had some nice chats with the members. we even met some of the people who were in the magazine story. all in all we had a wonderful time and will be going back

Later in the morning the President of the club gave all the new people that were there for the open house a tour of the rest of the area...cabins, RV area, trails etc... Had a great day. I told my wife about the trails, so maybe she will go with me next time.
Free2be,
How are you doing? I hope to visit Maheso sometime this week or next week for the first time. I'm brand new to nudism. I attended my first home party last month and had a great time. If possible, I would like to chat with you and your wife. I live in Upper Marlboro. Take care. |

Posted - 08/12/2010 : 6:56:15 PM I just heard about MAHESO recently and I also just found out that it will only be about 15 min. away from where I will be moving to this weekend. This is an old post, but has anyone been there that could answer some questions for me? For example, my wife, who is not a nudist would like the cabin, walks in the woods, etc...which she can do with clothes, but if it is a warm day, she would also like to take a dip in the pool...but nudity is required. It sounded like this place was near a river or lake. If it is, can you take a dip there (nude or clothed)? Thanks...Rob |

Posted - 08/04/2008 : 6:33:04 PM Hey, just missed you guys! We were at Maheso on Sunday and it was another beautiful day with a nice breeze and a friendly crowd numerous enough to fill all the deck chairs around the pool.
For those interested, the guitarist Randall Williams will be playing a concert at Maheso on August 23. Williams graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium, at the head of his classical music class, and now focuses all that training on is own compositions. Information and reservations at the Maheso website. |
