Posted - 10/21/2009 : 08:53:34 AM The 'official' Vera Playa website lists a catalogue of problems that at the moment is really putting us off booking. It appears they have on a regular basis, flooding, burglaries, car theft, voyeurs, a diminishing naturist beach, a council seeking to expel naturists and so the list goes on. Does anyone know if this is the case or is their webmaster a pessimist and actually the glass is half full? |

Posted - 10/22/2009 : 12:54:22 AM I found a website for Playa Vera, but it's unclear how official the site is, since there is a disclaimer that they are not associated with the Hotel Playa Vera Club. Is this an independent information site?
The 2009 News page does indeed have some troubling news, with photos of the flood, etc.
Let's see what others think. Do you prefer the brutal truth when booking your vacation, or would you appreciate it if they sugar-coat any potential problems a bit? Should they mention such issues such as wildfires at all? |
