Posted - 01/02/2004 : 1:46:22 PM 'Twas the Saturday before Christmas and all through the world Melissa said "to Penn Sylvan we go" and our lovely Cheef heard.
We got in his car and stepped on the gas because Cheef was driving we got there real fast.
The lady who stood behind the big desk read us our rights and we did not protest. "No masturbating with children around" she said and Melissa held her tongue and nodded her head.
To the hot tub we leapt with a single bound to find that there weren't many people around. The hot tub was hot and the pool was quite cool and Melissa kept thinking "this is better than teaching school."
After many a soak we needed a rest so we went to the gathering room to relieve some more stress.
Crayons, markers, and paste were there to be used so Cheef and Melissa colored and schmoozed. The pictures were pretty and gaily hung for all to see as the participants returned to the hot tub clothes-free.
The sun soon went down and we sadly had to say that we'd reached the end of our marvelous day.
So the clothes were replaced and our bodies were covered and we left with that special feeling of being again smothered.
But I heard Cheef proclaim as we drove out of sight "I'll bring you back here, Melissa, on another night."

Posted - 04/21/2004 : 06:20:10 AM Went to Penn Sylvan last Saturday and they were busy getting ready the place for the warm season. I figured I couldn't pass up such a nice day to work on my currently pathetic tan,LOL. I pitched in some to help clean up too. The thermometer in the pool area read 79 degrees. The pool should be open by the 2nd week in May. It wasn't very crowded, kinda quiet, did some chit-chat, had my lunch out on the deck. All in all a great day! |

Posted - 02/10/2004 : 05:32:08 AM Melissa I agree with you, men do have a menstrual cycle! I think they get just as cranky as we do!

Posted - 02/09/2004 : 10:29:43 PM Oh I totally agree Melissa, I would never use the hot tub when I have the curse. BTW, I was sitting just to your left and I didn’t even realize it. I left just after 3 PM. |

Posted - 02/09/2004 : 6:46:40 PM That was me- I always enjoy myself in the hot tub! That rule about women IS discriminatory. It says that women may not use the hot tub during their menstrual cycle. In my opinion, men shouldn't be allowed to use the hot tub during THEIR menstrual cycle, either. LOL

Posted - 02/09/2004 : 10:51:07 AM You know Melissa, I was wondering that too! There was a lady in the hot tub reading the hot tub rules and making some comical commentary about them, like the horseplay and how 1 rule (jokingly) discriminated against women. And she also mentioned wearing name tags at another place on a neckband or necklace. If that was you, you certainly were having a blast, I'm so happy you able to enjoy yourself now :-) I will see if I can make it next week, gotta think of a good potluck dish...hmmmm... |

Posted - 02/09/2004 : 06:13:39 AM Toosunni,
Golly, I wonder if I saw you there? I was also there on Saturday from around 2 to 4:30 or 5. We had a rousing Wally ball game going on. As the weather was supposed to turn cold and freeze the roads, I didn't stay for the dance.
Next weekend there will be a potluck dinner and a bunch of us are planning to attend, including Cheef and his wife. So come on out!

Posted - 02/09/2004 : 01:50:25 AM Update! I went to Penn Sylvan on Saturday and it was gr8. As I look back, I can see why they would give a single a workout when you are new to the place. They want to protect their G rated lifestyle and I do apprciate it now that I visited there. Everyone was very nice and friendly and I struck up some good conversation. Not a single person there got out of line. It is the first winter weather visit to a nudist place for me, that was a lil tough cuz I couldn't just go outside for a nature walk as an example. Oh and if anyone is heading up there soon let me know. Would be a gr8 honor to meet the Cheef! |

Posted - 02/02/2004 : 11:21:14 AM Hello all, I read all the comentary about Penn Sylvan, which makes me all the more wondering where did I go wrong? I called ahead to see if I needed reservations, etc., but what I got was the cold shoulder treatment, they did everything but read me the riot act over the phone! I have been to quite a few nudist places and never got such a treatment, it really had a chilling effect on me. I am also a card carrying nudist as well. I know some people go to places like this and make trouble or are bad actors, but all they need do ( if they are so worried about how I would conduct myself) is call places I have already been to! The main reason I would still want to go there is its not far away for me and I would just want to unwind and relax. If it were warm out, I would work on my tan. Sorry to vent so much but I need rescuing, somebody throw me a fricken bone here, LOL |

Posted - 01/19/2004 : 07:41:45 AM Kim,
I'm just not a fan of being hot and sweaty, so I'm thinking the sauna may not be for me. Regarding the whole trip, if I can go to my first nude social with a 90% male, 10% female ratio not knowing anyone, I can go to any nude resort alone! If my vaccuum cleaner arrives early enough, I'll be off to Penn Sylvan today.

Posted - 01/18/2004 : 6:56:44 PM There's a heated pool and hot tub inside as well as a sauna (haven't tried that yet.) Nobody else wants to go, but I'm sure I'll meet someone there... it can't be NEARLY as bad as my first nude swim!!!
