My wife and I are nudists from up north. We've never been to either Playalinda beach or Apollo. We are in our early 40's and will be visiting for the first time in April. Could you recommend or suggest which beach might be preferable over the other. Cathy and John |

NJ to FL......quite a drive to go nude isnt it! Haulover is OK, small and cant exactly walk very far either

cathyandjohn...have you heard of Gunnison Beach in NJ? It's the only one I've been to so far so I can't comment on Playlinda or Apollo. Since you are from up north somewhere...this could be a closer alternative. I've also heard Haulover Beach in FL is nice. I can't wait for warm weather to come back. Enjoy your trip. |

Playallinda parking a plenty even if you get there at 10 ish. Apollo, better be there by 7 at the latest or enjoy a 2 mile walk!

We've been to both. They are right near each other. Why not stop at both? See for yourself what you like.
Apollo has slightly flatter beach area. Playa has a steep drop off that goes down to the water. Apollo also has a lot more beach area to enjoy. Plenty more room. Playa has a more secluded feeling to it though. So either is good. Like I said, try both. Why not? |
