Recently, our nudist masseuse has moved away. Does anyone know of any nudist massage therapists in the southern CA area. My husband and I are looking for someone who is nude friendly. Preferably a nudist themselves. Someone who doesnt have to have a sheet or towel covering us while the massage is going on. We dont mind if the massage therapist themselves are nude,nothing sexual of course. We would prefer a woman.

Thanks for the information,briarabbit. I have inquired with many members at my club,just havent had any luck finding one yet. As for inquiring on the phone..Im sure it DOES sound weird asking" can I have a massage without ANY cover?" There are several nudist therapists in Palm Springs but that is not really conveinent for a regular massage. I will continue to look around. I found one before,and Ill find one again.

The professional massage associations have "ethical" problems with undraped massage. Nude therapists are a step further into the no-no zone. As mentioned earlier, many states demand draping and same-sex massage. The best way to find a massage therapist that will massage nude clients is to go to a nudist resort and ask about members that massage. Failing that, go to local massage therapists in person and ask directly. I am a certified MT and we get waaaaaay too many weirdos to take nude massage requests over the phone because we don't know who we are talking to. My own MT is a nudist and we do nude massage trades. It really is a luxury.

I never wear underware during ANY massage. Even when I go to a "non nudist" massage therapist,they let you be completely nude. I suppose it has a lot to do with the fact that I have never NOT been a nudist. In my 46 years on this earth I have spent the majority of my leisure time nude. When I partake in relaxing activities such as hiking,or soaking in a hot spring,or taking a nap I am nude. So in my opinion a massage is the same thing. Many who have not been a nudist there whole life do not understand this. As they have experienced both sides of the coin in many situations. I,and my family however have not. So when it comes to things like massage that are suppose to be the ultamite form of relaxation I cant really understand wanting to hinder that experience with anything draped all over me.

I didn't wear underwear during my draped massage so that wasn't an issue - and I guess I was just able to focus on the hands on me and the great feeling involved rather than the drape - I'd rather have a massage with a drape than no massage at all given no options though I have had both...like you said fire - just a matter of personal preference - but thanks for explaining... Also - I had a much better massage from the man than from the nudist woman I had - much stronger hands... |

Well said FireProf. Being nude is about BEING NUDE. NOT partially covered. Whatever we do we like to do it nude. Wether it be getting a massage or playing tennis. Honestly,no i dont like having a sheet all over me when participating in a relaxing activity such as getting a massage. The way they drape the sheet all over you and move it all around as not to catch a glimpse of ANY "innapropriate flesh" is awkward and..in fact NOT relaxing to me at all.

For us, it's just a personal preference to be nude when being massaged. We've both had massages where we had to keep our underwear on and those areas covered by either boxers, jockeys are not massaged by the masseuse.
The same feeling we all have by being nude is the same when we are having a massage and not having to wear underwear or a cover. If it's cool in the room, we don't mind a cover but if it's warm enough without a sheet or cover, it's so much better not having a cover. When covered it feels like your skin isn't breathing.
It's hard to explain, other than, once you've had a massage in the nude and uncovered, it's not the same having one draped and with your underwear on. It really has nothing to do with whether or not the masseuse sees or doesn't see your genitalia. |

In reading these posts I'm just trying to figure out why the concern over being massaged in the nude? Is somebody wearing clothes under the drape? Is somebody massaging you through the drape? I've had massages both clothed and nude and they felt equally good. Does it really feel better if people can see your privates during the massage? It didn't matter to me - I was nude under the drape and they massaged skin on skin....perhaps I'm missing something? Seems like such a short time to be worried about whether you're partially covered with a sheet or not. Do people also look for nude chiropractors? |

Thats Ok Cheri. As Im sure you know there are many different nudist resorts and clubs with many different "vibes" and atmospheres. Living Waters just didnt have the right "vibe" for us. Not sure how to put it any other way. We do enjoy - - - and Tera Cotta for our Palm Springs get aways.

Yes we know about Jeff and Judy,but an hour drive is a little too far to drive to get a massage on a regular basis. Been to Living Waters many times. Didnt care for it too much anyway.

Thanks I will try it. Actually I spoke with a woman who is a member of a nearby club. They have a female massuse that is not only ok with nudity,but usually is nude herself while she gives the massage. Settle down,,nothing sexual in nature:) I havent spoken to the therapist yet,but I git her #. If it pans out maybe I will list her on here.

Call around and tell them you are searching to find a masseuse for the members of your resort. Ask them if they would like to have their name posted at your club. Then tell them they would have to be OK with nudity.

Thank you for the responses. I have had several "all nude massages" at various nudist resorts. At - - as well as Desert shadow you can be completly naked during the massage. No sheet or anything. But these are 5 star resorts and not practical for a weekly massage. We are looking for a more local nudist massuse. We will just keep an eye out I guess.

Hi Jenn,
I know this won't help your situation - just putting out information. Texas always had a drape law, but I became a trusted client of a lady I went to and she was not uncomfortable giving nude massages. A couple of years ago, Texas changed the law to read that if both parties agreed on it, no draping was necessary.
Over time, I have seen massage business cards posted at the resorts in the Dallas area but it's been quite a while since I have seen one. I would think that it would be a great market for someone to get in on. They would have an instant customer base.
