Hi folks

Just had an idea. Most of us like to get snaps of ourselves and friends when out and about or on holiday. When on holiday, this usually involves including some aspect of the place in the photo, such as a street sign or a significant landmark.

So, why dont clubs and resorts, provide such a backdrop ? Why not have some designated areas, where there is a wooden cut-out with the name of the resort ? This way, you could position your subjects in front of said board and take photo. This could be sited so that it incorporates some scenic point. It can be placed in such a way that there will be no innocent passers by in the picture, or if there is, they are fully aware that this is the photo zone. Failing that, if there is no way of positioning it to exclude innocent passers-by, then it could be designed so that it is mural-like and acts as backdrop plus screen.

It is a good idea if everyone were trustworthy.

You need to first find out the club's rules and regulations. I have seen a regulation that the club would eject you from their property if they catch you with a camera. All clubs would say "No photography"; however I have seen one club say that permission is required before any photography. Reguardless, keep the camera well hidden. If management would take the photo, keep the camera in your beach bag until you get to the spot.

I like the Idea very much. We have been going to nude beachs for many years but this summer was our first resort experience. We wish we had some photos to remember the experience. We got to be friends with the lady that ran the place and wanted to ask her to take some photos, but didn't know what she would think. So I believe such a photo spot would be an ice breaker, but still keep the photos from being taken where they souldn't.

I THINK WITH THE COMPUTER PROGRAMS OUT TODAY IT’S NOT VERY HARD TO PLACE YOUR PHOTO INTO ANY BACKDROP. I HAVE SEEN IT DONE, CAN BE QUITE HUMERIOUS WHEN A NAKED PERSON IS STANDING NEXT TO HILLARY.

Of course, there is the famous "Club Orient" sign on the beach that marks the beginning of the resort. Most visitors to the beach have a picture of themselves adjacent to the sign, often posed to resemble the figures in the sign.
