So here goes:What sorts of things do you enjoy about the lifesyle? |

Posted - 08/15/2011 : 06:10:30 AM I enjoy the wind and the sun (in moderation) on my skin. after being suited up in a cubicle during the week,I can let that all go being nude at the beach.
Also, being nude removes (so to speak) the label, the clothing labels that is and the stylesthat tend to label you as sporty, or conversavtive, or a party goer, or a bayside dweller, or a western suburbs dweller. Without the labels, you are just who you are, which is such a freeing experience.
For me, being nude also strips away (sorry) the masks of the everyday. I feel at the same time more vunerable, but also more able to be myself. |

Posted - 06/10/2010 : 2:33:49 PM I'm going to agree with you on liking to see women naked part nudesunguy. I'm a man, I love women. I'm also a nudist. Just because I love to be naked, doesn't mean I can't appreciate and enjoy seeing a nude woman. Women's bodies are a work of art and should be admired. It doesn't mean that I'm getting sexually aroused or anything. I just enjoy seeing it. It's kinda like Elaine said (on Seinfeld) "a man's body is utilitarian, it's used for getting around" lol.
As for the isolated beaches part, unfortunately, the beach that I go to has both a clothing optional and a clothed beach. So the line to get into the park can extend for a couple of hours long on the weekends and holidays. Thankfully my schedule has me with rotating days off, every 5 weeks I get 2 weekends in a row. The other 5 weeks I'm off Mon/Tues, then Tues/Wed, Wed/Thur, Thur/Fri, then I get Fri/Sat/Sun, the Sat/Sun/Mon, then back in the cycle. So those weekdays that I'm off, I can go there and enjoy the beaches.

Posted - 06/10/2010 : 10:26:50 AM Getting out of the water and NOT having a COLD, wet rag on my crotch. Not worrying if someone is going to see you naked when changing clothes in the camper. I'll also admit I like to see women naked (is that wrong, ha...for the record, I also like to see them clothed). I also like the "subculture" of nudity; have you ever tried to go camping in a state park on the holidays? It's a zoo. Another thing is that nude beaches tend to be the most isolated and beautiful. I hate crowed beaches.

Posted - 06/08/2010 : 04:44:04 AM DEFINITELY makes Holidaying more fun / less stressful! The two of us can manage with 15kg in total (more on the way home!), AND there are all the added benefits of being able to swim and sunbathe as we are designed to, without any "artificial added extras"!
Also saved on the washing, ironing, and is very environmentally friendly (less water / energy consumption) - so in fact should we be also promoting Naturism as a very Eco-Friendly lifestyle (might manage to increase our numbers by a healthy margin in the process??)
Typical Aussie Winter - cold wind, but very warm sunshine - just TOO breezy to really strip off! Roll on August!

Posted - 05/05/2010 : 7:00:44 PM We both second that! We like being naked (okay, sorry, "nude") at home and with close nudist friends. It's a feeling of total freedom and acceptance. And it's such a relief not to "wait" on guests. Nudists always make themselves at home, and clean up the kitchen. We think it has something to do with everybody being "family."

I agree you can not explain it, you have to experience it to understand it.

I couldn't agree more. It's like my co-worker and I discuss at work in regards to our back pain (I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back, he has other issues)...if you don't have back pain, we will never be able to fully describe to you just how painful, uncomfortable and inconvenient it is.
It can also be described the same way it is said about those of us who ride harleys..if we have to explain it, you just wouldn't understand.
I can't even describe why I love being nude so much, I just do. It's much more natural than being clothed.

My favorite thing about being naked is just being able to feel everything. The wind, the sand, the water, the sun. |
