We just had a positive story in the paper today about a woman who did her front yard gardening topless and was told she would be evicted from her apartment for doing so. She went to court and won. BOULDER, Colo.— A Colorado woman who likes to garden wearing only a yellow thong and pink gloves has won her fight with her landlords, who wanted her to cover up. Boulder Housing Partners has decided not to outlaw tenants from going topless outside. That will allow 52-year-old Catharine Pierce to keep gardening the way she likes.

Betsey Martens with the city housing authority noted Wednesday that the Boulder City Council recently voted to continue to exempt female toplessness from a ban on public nudity. Martens said the council's action reflects the community's values.

The housing authority had threatened to evict Pierce and her husband, Robert, after getting complaints from neighbors and passers-by.

Robert Pierce said he's happy with the housing authority's decision.

i think if nudist organization pushed the topfree issue and more government approved it and women exercised there right than full nudity would follow, you need to take small steps to acomplish major feits.

There have been couple stories like this lately. The trick is to be willing to be VERY public about being a nudist. They were willing to talk to the press & have their names and faces in the press.
