No problem....
but yes there is a helluva lot of new information shown throughout our updated website. www.thewhitecockatoo.com

As it has been here for the last 7 years there are absolutely no secrets about what we do, and whenever we make any changes to methods of operation we are always totally open and honest about those changes and publish them for the world to see.

Our independence and uniqueness is definitely working, and while others may describe us as "much maligned" I much prefer the term "World Famous"

Just tossing up though whether "Get Plucked @ The White Cockatoo" might be a good marketing ploy???

Somehow I think there will a little more exposure to come....

But in all seriousness... and due to this site being Nudist-Resorts.org Let's be clear that The White Cockatoo is ONLY operating as a Nudist Resort from the 1st October to 19th December this year, '09.

Usual common sense nudist etiqutte rules apply during this time, which is all clearly shown and explained via http://www.thewhitecockatoo.com/aboutus.html

Comments from Nudists on other seasons are simply silly.

At the end of the day it's all Great Fun In The Sun

Tony

I suppose congratulations are in order to Tony on his impending retirement. I'm sure his book will sell dozens of copies. While I'm no great fan of Tony nor of the White Cockatoo, one must give the devil his due. When he says that what he is pleased to call the "prudy nudie" market is in decline, he makes a valid point. Whether it's due to an aging demographic, the current economic mess, or other factors attendance at nudist and clothing-optinal resorts seems to have peaked. Resort owners, no matter how well-intentioned, are by definition business people, and cannot keep operating at a loss. If we "prudy nudies" (personally I prefer "non-swinging nudists") are losing the battle to the more lucrative swinger market, it is to some degree our own fault. Are we doing what we can to support the venues that reflect our values? I know times are tough right now, but if all the members of AANR, TNS, and this forum would commit to even a brief stay at a nudist resort this year, we might be able to insure that these resorts are still around next year.

Doc, I couldn't agree more.

Everyone, please support your favorite nudist venues, THIS YEAR, because they will truly need it.

We need to support ALL venues that provide a satisfactory nude or clothing optional environment, where the visitor can expect good behavior, proper discretion and good reputation of the resort or facility, with no disappointments.

Hi, we realise that this post originally is quite old however, we are very interested in white cockatoo and yes we are nudists but also very much in swinging... everyone to their own guys, it works for us.

However this whole thread is confusing, we are seriously thinking of booking into white cockatoo (places are very limited we know) but is it a truly 'swingers friendly' resort?? We have read the resorts webpages and have seen a lot very opposite comments and reviews. We are not too fussed about the physical condition of the place, as long as the pool water isnt green lol!!

But taking into the costs of getting there etc, we dont want to mispend our hard earned on something which isnt actually true. We understand the rules etc but its strange taht we cant find a post relevant to the "adults Only-almost evrying goes" period.

Cheers

Had you ever thought of emailing The White Cockatoo directly and asking???

And with all due respect, Would it not seem rather odd that if the pool is green, or any of the other negative comments being factual, why The White Cockatoo continues to thrive after 8 years of operation, with a huge number of return guests, along with actual guest comments on it's own website???

Regarding the "adults only almost anything goes" seasonal theme, on this website we don't provide free advertising or support for this type of activity.

If members have comments to share about the 'nudist' months at White Cockatoo, this is appropriate and on-topic for this forum.

However, blatantly swinger-friendly lifestyle trip reports are not allowed here. There may be other websites for that.
