I want to be nude. gone full nude @ home a few times but still embarrassed. Live with family so its hard to find time alone. Even when alone, their schedules are random & make it difficult to even think about going nude. I know nobody in my family would accept nudism & neither would my friends.
I also have a problem with getting erect at any time. I am afraid I would get an erection & cause a problem. How exactly is this received if it happens openly? I am a virgin so I know that me being easily aroused is a little usual.

I know what you mean. I worry that it would make me come across as a sexual deviant, when in reality I'm just curious. Being a guy isn't easy, but i'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks about this. But yeah, what would a guy do in that case?

I Went to my 1st nudist resort 2 1/2 yes ago to check it out and loved it! now, how to get my wife interested. As I was going and trying to figure out how to tell her about it in a way she'd want to go, she found out and acused
Me of having an affair or meeting another woman there. Honesty is the best policy. As I knew she doesn't have any interest. I wish she enjoyed being naked as much as I do.

I know this question has been answered in many fashions, but I am just trying to be helpful and get my posts count up a bit.

Regarding the question of unwanted erections in any situation, the final answer is an erection is NOT as important as the behavior of the man. If you get one at any time, either while lazily lounging in the sun, speaking to someone or dancing at a nudist club/resort, just behave yourself, do not "handle" your penis and maintain a respectable distance (minimum 2 feet) from the other person or people. The etiquette for nudist guys is pretty much the same as it is for clothed guys, and it really is not that hard to make a connection between socially acceptable behavior WHILE CLOTHED or WHILE NUDE.

In the event you become overly excited and are unable to concentrate on anything except your genitals, a cold shower or manual relief in complete privacy is recommended. Most resorts have private bathroom stalls and unwanted erections can be relieved in privacy to regain total control of "Mr. Happy".

Honestly, as has been written many times, your brain is the largest sexual organ in the body and you can control your physical reactions with a little practice. It also helps to BE involved in the activities available at many resorts and clothing-optional beaches, because an occupied mind has better things to do than relax the pubic muscles (yes, an erection results when the muscles RELAX and blood is allowed into the penis; it is the opposite of what some might think).

What Centauri said is correct, I think.. the more active a man is in the nudist lifestyle, around others, the less of an issue it is. I have rarely encountered guys sporting erections at the beaches I go to, because both the beaches and the people have been around a long time.

In Peru, we did go to one of the "not quite legal" nudist ends of the beach to the south of Lima, and a young man did get an erection while talking to my girls. I could tell he was new to the nudist thing, but he didn't seem like he was there just to chat up girls or troll for sex, since he had others with him (of both sexes). I let it go for a while, but when it started to look like the poor boy was suffering, I suggested he go for a swim. I just reminded the girls that in that context, they should take it as a compliment and not make a big deal of it (pardon the pun).

Anything that can be done, can be done better while nude.

It seems that almost everyone who gets involved with nudism expects his family and all of his friends to have a rather dim view of nudism. Guess what Paulino, most people really won't care that you prefer not to wear clothes. I've told numerous family members and friends that I'm an enthusiastic nudist. Although many are somewhat amused not one has ever indicated that he or she was at all upset by my lifestyle. Some have revealed a similar inclination. Until you ask them you'll never really know if your family would be bothered by your home nudity. My daughter and grand daughter don't mind my nudity around the house.

With regard for your concern about erections, that happens so infrequently that it is not an issue. Don't worry about it and it won't happen.

Go get naked and enjoy it.

Nudists are everywhere, but they're hard to identify with their clothes on.

That's great for you, and I'm happy, but I haven't found that to be universally true for me. My family, yes (nudism has been part of it for generations now), but not people from work or circles outside of my nudist friends. It's a mixed bag, but some have had very strong opinions against it, especially sending hate my way for raising my girls as nudists. It got so bad we were once investigated by the police for child abuse because our neighbor thought raising a nudist child was perversion. (The police recognized we were just nudists and nothing happened, but it was a stressful time.)
