My friend just went in the ocean (with suit on) and then took it off and swam around, and then put it back on to get out at a non-nude beach. Anyone ever tried this?

I have thought about it but if the water is clear and the beach is crowded it is not a good idea. The few times the beach has not been crowded I happened to be at a beach with high rise condos all around. Luckily I am in Fl so if caught simply being nude isn't an issue, it's the lewd while nude that gets you in trouble. That said I still wouldn't take the risk if there was the chance of being seen. Find a stretch of beach with no/1-2 story bldgs, no people, and low visibility.

I did it when I was like 14 most everyone does it even if its just in a lake with water up to your chest, neck area and you just slide down your bottoms to feel the freedom, not sure about if women do it but I did it.

Someone actually designed a swimsuit for that. http://www.nudi.com/index.html For me, I found it works great while driving.

Women can get by with this fairly easily; I've seen it more than once. Just go off to the side of the main beach (out of view of the lifeguard if there is one), drop your suit and jump in the water. Even in the US, female nudity is not deemed as offensive as male nudity.

I tend to go naked at "non nude" beaches, trails, and anywhere else that I won't get arrested. Most of the current "nude" beaches became that because a generation of people went naked at "non nude" beaches.
