Hi everyone. We are avid nudists from Vancouver Island in Canada. We are planning a vacation in Cuba at Christmas or Easter and want to know which beach areas would suit our lifesyle. I realize that Americans can not travel to Cuba (too bad!) Any Canucks out there who could help us out.

From what Iv'e heard a lot of Europeans visit Cuba.A lot of them will go topless at the beach.
Fidel does'nt seem to mind!

If you go stay at any 5 star for good food. As for nudism being topless seems to be the only nudism I have seen; although I have heard that there are two new resorts opened up on a peninsula that has nudism. Have not been able to locate as of yet.

Being topless is not very popular for locals, but normal on any beach frequented by european tourists. Nudism is only allowed on small islets (cayos) off the cuban coast, dedicated only to international tourists. In the south, in Cayo Largo there are several areas in the long beaches where nudism is at least tolerated. In the north coast, in Cayo Guillermo I have sunbathed nude in the western end of Playa Pilar, far from the hotels and most tourists. You can find a detailed report on the link below:

Howdy members,
Just returned from the Island of Cayo Largo (Cuba), The hotel all inclusive was Sol Cayo Largo, with its signed "Nudism Beach"/Beach for Nudism, when I finally found it, on this clothes optional section of beach and many get a surprise (Naked people) because the sign is hard to find due to storms ravaging the beach and surfing like waves pounding the shore. I was told 2 other Hotels also have clothes optional sections to their surprise/shock, when at the airport, a bare naked beach they called it LOL.
Totally enjoyed the beach, the food,the friendly people from everywhere and the nice Hot weather!
