That's been a concern from right after Irma took her toll on Club O and Orient Beach. That's why Club O has continually requested that those visiting St. Martin and the French side, continue to visit the beach in front of Club O and continue using it nude. Patronize The Perch Lite and if they are still available, rent lounges and umbrellas and use the beach nude. Continue visiting The Perch Lite and being naked and keep the intrusion of those that would change this piece of property into an extension of the already 90% body covered (textile) beach.
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Update from Club O's facebook page;
YES, lounges and umbrellas WILL still be available to rent and The Perch Lite will remain operational. This according to frequent visitors to Club O and those now there with the info straight from the office.

If this video is truly what it purports to be - footage of Club O taken in January 2019 - it is ineffably depressing. While it appears that much of the debris has been removed and the palm trees are recovering, there seems to be NO reconstruction going on. There are dozens of bare foundations, but not a hint of any work being done. I assume this is due to lawyers and money, those two greatest obstacles to progress. On the slightly positive side, the beach is getting a fair amount of nude use (see the evidence of rented beach chairs at around the 1:42 mark). Hopefully this will continue, as will the availability of drinks and burgers at the 'Perch Lite'. But I'm losing hope that we'll ever have another chance to visit Club O. If anyone has better news, please share it!

Doing my best to find the latest comments from those in the know about Club O's rebuild. Last I read, several building permits have been pulled but as stated by Doc, lawyers and insurance companies are in the mix and that stalls everything. There seems to be progress but it's slow... very, very slow.

Club Orient was always a rather fragile legal entity. The whole issue of ownership has been tied up in the French courts for decades. I loved Club O so much I seriously considered buying a chalet there during the real estate crash of 2008-9, but I chickened out when I learned that I would only receive 'provisional' title pending "final resolution of all legal proceedings". There was no guarantee that the courts wouldn't award the land back to the colonial-era family that sold the land (illegally, some descendants claim) to Club O in the first place. Risky business, and in retrospect I'm glad I opted out. At this point the reconstruction of Club O is so mired in red tape and lawsuits that it might not re-open in my lifetime, if ever.
But it's not just Club O. The destruction brought on by the hurricanes of 2017 has left a number of well-known Caribbean resorts in ruins and in legal limbo. If climate change brings the predicted sea-level rise and more severe storms, investing in the Caribbean may become too great of a risk.
