We will be spending a few days in Las Vegas a few months from now for a business meeting. Is there a C/O B&B anywhere in the Las Vegas area? We'd love to spend a few extra days, but we don't want to waste them in a "textile" hotel -- no matter how famous or fancy they claim to be. Help!

Good luck. The lack of any sort of C/O B&B or resort in Las Vegas remains one of Life's Great Mysteries.

I've got it, Doc! Kill two birds with one stone...you move from the Pacific North Wet and buy a nice private home in Vegas! Bingo...you can open your own C/O B&B! After all, what could be better than visiting a C/O B&B? (which you obviously enjoy) RUNNING a C/O B&B!!!
Enjoy the sunshine!

There must be something I don't know about Las Vegas. Not only are there no C/O resorts or B&B's, there are very few B&Bs of any kind. TripAdvisor and BBOnline each have one listing! One wonders if the big casino hotels have used their political clout to make it difficult to open a small-scale operation.
Besides, I'm too surly and misanthropic to be a good host.

Bingo! I think you hit the nail on the head regarding the casinos and the fear they instill. As for being surly and misanthropic...don't be so hard on yourself!
Enjoy the sunshine!

At one time or another several prominent names in nudist circles have attempted to float the idea of establishing a nudist resort in or near Las Vegas. None has ever been built, surprising when one considers the climate, geography and the proximity to the entertainment mecca that is Las Vegas.
One has to conclude that big hotel money is the main reason former mayor Oscar Goodman and his wife the current mayor were (and are) are so adamant against nudist resorts. With all the on-stage nude revues and the hotels charging testosterone-fueled college-age males a small fortune for the privilege of witnessing topless (European!!!) sunbathing at their resort's swimming pools, the hypocrisy is staggering.

I think you nailed it, CalTom. Sort of like how they don't promote the nearby natural wonders (Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, etc.). Can't afford to have folks leaving the casinos to hike.

Just seems strange ... We don't go to Vegas often ... in fact, we visit rarely. NOW ... if there was a C/O hotel, motel, resort, club ... B&B ... we'd probably go much more often. What's a nudist to do after they've laid in the sun all day? Gotta eat! Gotta see some of Vegas. Gotta do some stuff in Vegas that stays in Vegas ... get off the compound and go spend some money. If Vegas wants more people visiting and spending money ... you'd think they'd tap into any type of gig that brings people in ... like a "Nude/Clothing Optional hotel or resort!"
They don't seem to be thinking outside the box, in my opinion, but ... maybe they don't have to.
:D
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Exactly. You'd think at least one little hotel with a pool would offer CO or at least a separate CO section? That would be an excuse for (tens of?) thousands of nudists to go to Vegas.

I am in Las Vegas. I recommend staying on the Strip and making day trips to the place I work at.
I am Nudist Greeter at three places in Las Vegas
