I have been on some nudist boards and the thing what made me feel uncomfortable was, that you could not talk about adult themes with adults on an adult board. I respect the restrictions but there has to be open talk about everything somewhere. So I created The Openminded Nudist Board at [link deleted]

Eva, The only thing that might be a problem is that a first time nudist looking for only plain vanilla nudism, might happen upon that board and be turned off of what mainstream nudism really is.
Best regards, Cheri

It seems there is confusion everywhere as to exactly what constitutes "mainstream nudism"...
Posted in the Haulover Digest by Ray Ferrara
Naked war begins between German nudists
HAMBURG (dpa) - A row has broken out between Germany's official naturist movement and thousands of people who enjoy sunbathing naked but refuse to become paid-up nudist club members.
With Germany enjoying a heatwave, more and more people are shedding their clothes at the country's lakes, rivers, parks and beaches - much to the annoyance of nudist clubs.
Waltzer Nussbaumer, president of the Association for Free Life Form, said "wild nudists" were giving a bad name to the country's organized naturalists, 50,000 of whom are members of so-called Free Body Culture (FKK) clubs.
"We real FKK members distance ourselves from these naked people. They give the movement a sleazy name," he said.
"Morals are important to us. We care about a decent club life in which family togetherness and sport counts. There's absolutely nothing erotic about 200 people jumping around naked."
Bild newspaper Thursday pictured one female nudist on an official FKK beach who accused unofficial naked sunbathers of "pure exhibitionism".
Another said: "Somehow they are not proper nudists, not so nicely organized as we are. We in the FKK club have great barbecue evenings, play games together, everybody knows everyone else.
"These easy girls who simply take everything off in public probably only want to grab themselves a guy."
But one of the "wild nakeds" 32-year-old mother-of-two Sandra called the nudist club members narrow-minded conservatives.
"You only have to look around you on an FKK beach you wouldn't want to see these people even in swimming trunks," she told Bild.

@admin it is verrrrry hot right now in germany, and normally whe have in the sommer a political cabaret (parliament goes into summer holidays and some politician making an ass of themselves) right now we are so much down the drain, that the people have to do some crazy stunts. the above is one of them, then a guy with over 240 lbs did a bungee jump from a tall tower in a city and the rope snapped.
this weather is really nothing for us poor germans. but then, we cultivate garden gnomes and combine them and the proud owner into a club.
@cheri don't get me wrong cheri - This is not another nudist forum, this is the nudist forum with only one main topic. It is all about sex and nudism. Since in the USA there are to many restrictions, I choose a server and an admin from Germany. So if people want to talk about things what are banned in some parts of the USA, the can without legal problem, because they are in a "neutral space"
And since I do not want to step on any toes, I better step on my own.
By the way, my forum is blocked from non members, so who goes there knows what to expect.
I think it is in the interest of the big nudist forums, if they can have the controversial themes of their back. So all the people who want to talk about inappropriate topics can be send on the way and the admin has less stress to keep the forum in the shape he / she desires.
just my way to help all you great people out there in your daily fight against the people who condemn nudism.

@cheri if you would look at this brand new forum you would see now at the top position Read me first ----- What you will find here Welcome My name is Eva and this forum is just about sex and nudsim. It is not about to promote nudism = sex. It is about that we are all beings with needs and we can discuss a certain aspect (sex) of this needs here. If you are new to nudism and want to know what it is about, then this is the wrong place and will give you definitely the wrong expression.
Please do yourself a favor and check out this great forums: http://www.nudist-resorts.org http://www.clothesfree.com/
(you might to stop by later on when you understand the spirit of nudism and have a sexual question what might be easier answered here)
--------
do you think that is easily understandable by most people?

Eva, a front page link, properly labeled in the right context, is the best thing you can offer this forum. Thank you.
...well, not the best thing. That avatar is pretty cool too!
IMHO, you really can't fight niche forums popping up. It's the nature of knowledge to expand. Good luck to you.
In this rapidly growing nudist movement, we will see our differences bloom as well. What is defined as within the bounds of "nudism" may vary greatly from individual to individual. The design of this forum is to truly represent that "everyone brings something different to nudism". It is our intention that the sexual aspects of nudism, as they relate to nudism should be discussed in a serious atmosphere. Nudist-Resorts.Org provides a place to do that and many other things.
One way I have of looking at it, is if a man can be nude among several attractive people and have no chance of an unwanted erection, then I'm willing to bet he's a nudist.
If that group of people then want to enjoy erotic talk, or more, then they are being two things at one time: nudists and erotic people.
If however a man attends these nudist events only for the expectation of enjoying this erotic talk with nudists, then it's doubtful he ever understood nudism in the first place. You will recognize him by his picture of his penis, or his eagerness to talk erotically.
Given a 50/50 mix of nudism and eroticism, I doubt you'll hear much true nudism in there. There is a difference between information and titillation, a rule that is observed in this forum.
Keep in mind, also, that we don't allow linking from our site to any erotica, whether pictures or text. How are you going to keep your forums on an information basis? I'm sure you know the tone things will take if you let your visitors set the rules...
As a courtesy to me, please keep the link to your new forum out of your signature file. I don't mind it in this thread, until we see what kind of content you are posting. I'm not putting down your efforts, just following our established guidelines.

Admin, I got another bug 4 you. I am working with opera 7.11 When I open a new window (tabbed browsing) to look at a topic, the original window changes to the link too. This behavior is only on you forum no where else, and yes I work since 1984 with computers and checked it wit IE 5 too and the same behavior. Did you do this to limit the open connections?

That's weird. Can anyone else duplicate that on their machine?
I'm not much of a tabbed browser myself, what's the advantage, Eva?

You have just one instance of the browser open. Every new webpage you are on is just a window inside the main browser. All windows are full screen and you switch between them via a click on the tab or, as I prefer with a hot key. IE opens a new browser and that costs a bit more resources. by the way - you are an old netscape fan, admin? (your avatar)

Yes. I've always been a fan of the underdog. Too bad AOL bought Netscape and will be pulling the plug on it.
