Sundance36,

We actually get dressed and undressed a few times a day. When home we are usually nude. We get dressed when we leave to run errands but when we return home, we once again get undressed even if we know we are leaving again.

The only reason we would stay dressed even if going out again is it we were leaving within a half hour or so. If we are going to be home for over that amount of time, we get undressed.

Sounds crazy dressing and undressing a few times but we really rather be nude whenever possible.

At this point I drop my clothes as I walk in my door. When I come home I'm usually here for a while, but even if I can get one hour in without clothes I feel better. Somehow I just function better and sleep better when I'm nude. What's with that?

Melissa

Sundance36,
I do feel the same way. Its a pain to get dressed and undressed all the time. Now that the weather is colder we cant just though on something real quick and run out. Ive been in and out of the house all day, havent had a chance to take anything off.

Dare to be Bare

Melissa,

What's with that is that you've fallen into the nudist lifestyle head on. We too seem to function better, get more things done and feel better as soon as we get our clothes off.

Glad to see someone else drops there clothes the minute they get inside, even if it's for just a few minutes. I can usually get away with throwing on a pair of pants, a shirt and slip on shoes w/o socks and head out the door if the need arises, so the constent dressing and undressing doesn't bother me at all.

I think you just seem to relax more when you are nude and you dont seem as stressed out.One day spent nude at my club feels like a weeks holiday at a clothed location.

We don't bother closing doors while changing at our house either and we do sit on towels.

However, the bathroom is another story. Wife has hers, I have mine and never the twain shall meet. My razor is always sharp as a result

I hate labels (nudist, naturist). I think that our chosen lifestyle of being nude when possible, clothed when practical, is really a state of mind. There have been occasions where I wear clothes so as not to offend ... but I still feel naked, because that is my choice, and when possible, I am always literally naked again. I don't feel I need a label because I like to be nude; instead I choose to consider myself nude even when I must wear clothes.

Does this serve to confuse the issue? LOL

Naturally, Dan :)

I think Milissatarr is asking abt nudist life at home and not between couples. I see most of the replies saying 'I and my wife...'. There is no big deal in getting nude with wife and sharing bathroom with her. But what abt sharing with the family (parents, friends and children).

You are probably right Rahul. We raised our kids from babies as nudists, so it is no big deal with us.

My sister and our grown kids see me nude when they visit and my brother who only recently spent a whole week with us saw me nude the whole time. Several of our non-nudist friends also see me nude. Normally I would dress when the kids' spouses visit and even my brother since he's uptight about it but I figure it's my house and I can dress as I please. When I visit them I wouldn't dream of going nude unless they had those house rules. I also dressed when my wife's parents visited but that was the only exception.

I find that if your friends and family accept you they have no problem accepting all of your "quirks" as we all have them.

I've always found it very strange when people ask me if I go nude at home... As if its is unusual that I do. I've always presumed that everybody does! May be I've lived alone way to long?

Cheers,
