Really cute TV ad showing two women obviously try a nude beach for the first time. We see woman accept the experience like this at our clothing optional B&B's all the time.

Now that's definitely a landmark victory! How'd that happen?

Notice the "two elderly women" as the beach goers, not a younger couple whose motives could be misconstrued. They're trying to stay within safe territory. Well done, and a boon to nude beaches!

Nice! Something mainstream showing that going to a nude beach is not something strange or perverted instead something people want to do!

I think the commercial gives people a positive sense that it's OK to give it a try.

That's what Admin means, Doc. Elderly. Hahahaha. Ooops, that is my age, too.

Actually, all nudists should shop at Walgreens, and tell them what ad brought you into their store. Write to the CEO of Walgreens and tell them that, too. Maybe they'll come up with more nudist commercials.

I like that idea warmskin. Its a good place to start in promoting nudity and maybe when word spreads other companies will be on board too. Can you imagine the impact a sunscreen commercial would have.

We love that commercial also! It shows what a joy it is to be naked with nature. The fact that the age of the women are seniors/baby boomers, shows that Walgreen's is a company not afraid to represent a demographic that is often overlooked. Factor in they are willing to be naked regardless of their age speaks volumes about what being naked is all about. It also shows how we should enjoy life as we choose.
I like Warmskins idea. Lets write to Walgreens. What's the address to their corporate offices?

I suggest you make comments on the page...It might just get back to Walgreens, but more importantly...to the ad agency that created it! Only a few comments there at the moment, so get back to the site and get writing!! :-)

Enjoy the sunshine!

Up to 92.8% with my vote just a minute ago...but it doesn't show how many votes had thumbs up or how many thumbs down. It just says 7.2% were boo.

A pastor wrote a comment stating he won't be back to Walgreens until they quit running the ad...I left a comment for him. :-)

MrsAz, you need to be more understanding. Yes, he's a Southern Baptist pastor, but that alone doesn't explain his knee-jerk negative overreaction. His Facebook page reveals him to be a graduate of Texas A&M University. As a product of the rival University of Texas system, I can say with certainty that for the most part, Aggies simply lack the mental bandwidth to appreciate the advantages of a clothes-free lifestyle. It's not clear whether A&M produces knuckleheads or attracts them, but the end result is the same. So don't be too hard on him. He just can't help it, bless his heart.

(Full disclosure: As a Recovering Texan, I grew up in an integrated community consisting of Aggies and Everybody Else. I've known many an Aggie, clothed and otherwise, and they're fine folks one and all. But I could not pass up the opportunity to make fun of one of their tribe.)
