Are you aloof from the Earth, or are you grounded?

I little on the strange side, but I found this interesting.

Is one of the benefits of nudism that you are more often electrically in contact with nature? Is walking barefoot through moist grass a health benefit? What is your opinion?

All I can go on is how I actually feel, physically and mentally.

Being clothed is at times a necessity but I don't feel great when I'm clothed or clothed for long periods of time. Even my wife, who isn't as hardcore a nudist as I am, gets tense, irritated and will say ... "I just need to take my clothes off."

Being barefoot is my preference and I'm not sure if it's because I'm grounded to the Earth or not but I can be wearing crocs or flip flops outside while working and I get tired of wearing them and after I kick them off and am barefoot, I seem to get re-energized.

Maybe there's something to it!

Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Could be, like FireProf, I feel better when I'm barefoot/nude.

It could also be that my body is conditioned to relax as soon as the boots come off.

Tim

I agree Tim! Something about taking off your shoes to start to feeling relaxed. Then...the rest of the clothes to complete the process.

That story has huge amount of wisdom. Connection to mother earth is important for health. ALL of our body functions depend on a constant flow of electrons for our chemistry, and its all chemistry. Rubber shoes, polyester or dry cotton beds, carpets, all separate us from electrical grounding. We develop a positive voltage in our bodies which interferes with normal chemistry much like the voltage used in electroplate tanks. Shoes also tend to cause or exacerbate gout, bunions, spurs, and many other foot problems. Just leave them off and learn to walk on mother earth again.

Naked is green.
