Do you have suggestions for improvements to our discussion forum?
We'd like to know about features you feel would be worth the development time. Perhaps you know of another website that has a feature you'd enjoy here. Tell us about it.
Another area that can always use improvement is our sign-up process, where some points of our posting rules may not be as clear as necessary. Give us some insight into how it is to sign up here.
The goal is a smooth signup process where new members aren't enticed to create a profile just because they are hoping to find erotica or sexual content.
Can you think of any other possible improvements to Nudist-Resorts.Org?
Add your suggestions here by clicking Reply to Topic.

I want to compliment you for this site. I also would like to acknowledge that you have several very wonderful people that are active within this online community.
I have been involved, at different levels of responsibility and authority, in several websites.
Some of these sites are still ongoing, some have lived their life’s and been closed.
You do have a good place to build what you dream this site can be.
Let’s begin at that location.
What do you dream this site can be?
Once we have a destination, and we do have a point of origin, you can develop a strategy and implement tactics to reach the destination.
Destinations are very strange but true things.
This site is here today, so, when you started this project, Nudist Resort, is this were you planned to be today.
Now, this is the destination that has come from your dreams, your strategy, and the success or failures of your tactics.
Let’s learn from our past and take a new and clean chalkboard and lets make our new destination become a workable plan that we can achieve.
Here is the biggest problem; the 800 pound gorilla that is stinking up the room, that now one has the courage to face.
It’s not pleasant, and its directly in the way, an obstruction, to were your dreams want to take this site.
Here it is. This site is a destination for men, of all ages, who are looking for pornography to enable them to masturbate.
What is worse, this site may actually be a path point for pedophiles, or other things that society is not going to want to be associated with.
The proof, or at least circumstancial evidence, is in the membership.
Let’s don’t waste time arguing this. Let’s accept it. That honesty will allow us to change.
Let’s also remember this. Taking our clothes off is not the end, its just the beginning.
When you take the sex out of our site, and you will, you have a place that like minded political people can gather in an online community that can actually be vibrant.
Once you can establish that very rare and exciting thing called a vibrant online community, you can attract success, and success will help you reach your dreams.
Your power will be the collective energy of this soon to be established vibrant community.
You can make this happen.
You are not that far off target.
You are not where you want to be, but you can see it from where we are, and that means, if its in sight, its within reach.
I am excited about the future for Nudist Resorts.
Let’s make it so.

"This site is a destination for men, of all ages, who are looking for pornography to enable them to masturbate. The proof is in the membership."
That is an outrageous thing to say . The Internet is bursting at the seams with sexual images and you think men come here to gawk at thumbnail sized images of naked (mainly) men, or people discreetly positioned . I think you and I live on different planets.

Stu, that’s the first thing you have said that I can agree with completely. Looking at reality, you can say that you think i live on a different planet than you, and that’s not more outrageous than the fact that based on the evidence; this is a destination site for men looking for images to view as they masturbate. Stu, me thinks thou protest to much! I am not surprised, since I think this thread is born of a discussion started about whether you came to this site looking for above said images for above stated recreational activity.
Everything you do, even following me here, not to help build a better site, but to attack my criticisms that relate to my criticisms of you, well, you are continuing to paint yourself red. I don’t care that you are outraged. I just see this as a site that could be dynamic if not for the pall of masturbators that hang heavy over everything. Read back thru my previous post to understand why I can make that statement. Also, start another thread to talk about how you are not here to masturbate, and how outraged you are about the conclusions I draw from my observations. This forum has one very strong point and that is that its moderator keeps threads on topic.

Stirbaby,
If I was looking for a place to look at pornography (and I am not) this site would hardly be a choice!
I could key in "sex" in any search engine-and have literally thousands of pages to review. I could search for Porn Star sites!
Anyone looking for what you suggest here-would be sadly disappointed.

If someone joins this forum, and then decides to withdraw their membership, what are their means of doing so? I haven’t been able to find such a procedure. This begs the question, if thousands of men have joins this forum in hopes of finding the visual stimulation they seek to assist their sexual release, and then are disappointed, do they simply retain their membership and never return, their membership simply sitting on our rolls, or are they deleting their membership before they go. Yes, they are disappointed, if not at first, then at second or third. What I am suggesting is that this site actively purge its rolls of the thousands of no post members, and develop an admission procedure that would discourage the sexual stimulation seekers. To do these you must first acknowledge a need. Once you establish the need, then you can begin to plan for the changes to meet the need.

StirBaby,
For gosh sakes! You are alledging that someone would come here for something like that..
Do you have any evidence other than your esteemed opinion and suspicions?

Not sure if it can be done, but something that would help is setting up a program or by hand pull up all the member names that haven't contributed in a year or more. Send them all an email with the email they submitted that they have 30 days to contribute in some way or another or their membership will be removed. Heck, just remove them. That would be easier. If they haven't contributed to the site in a year they're removed from the rolls.

Something else to consider, one member name per home computer or IP address. This may cut the chances of people using multiple identities as some former members here have done. It's a problem made mostly by bored children with bad parents or immature adults who think it's fun.

I think what stirbaby is refering to is the large number of members who never post nor respond to the boards. They come here looking for free porn. They sign up as a member to see the member photo albums, see that it isn't really porn or not as much as they hoped for, then they move on to other sites. My uncle came to me for help once. He was new to the internet and wanted to find free porn sites that was actually free. Many of them that advertise as free give a sample or two then want to charge you. His wife found out about this because one site wanted his name and home phone number for him to sign up. He didn't read the fine print and ended up with a phone bill hundreds of dollars. The porn site charged his phone as a long distance call. Some people are voyeurs and seek out nudist sites for their pleasure.
We the willing who are led by the unknown must do the impossible for the ungrateful.

I think you should include the male& female icon on the member lookup page. This format is nearly identical to Northwest-Nudist.org, but they denote male female members.

Hi all,
I don't know if my two cents worth will have a impact on this subject ... I suggest to mode rator to have a better control on some "Avatars"....
I'm not hitting on anyone but I feel rather embarrassed when I see nudes "Avatars" with there legs all spreaded open or others having there genitals showing (to evidently) . I think it's not necessary to do so.... You can be a naturist or nudist but showing genitals (in such way) is in my opinion a clear no no no... I ask moderator to keep alert...
born to be free.... but not gross

dave, i think a year is too long.
if someone has signed up and not posted just to introduce themselves after 60 days, they should be deleted.
sometimes things happen, and folks can't post a lot. but they can at least say hello.

Is that why YOU are here??? Man you need to go somewhere else then. I find you to be very troubled. Those type of remarks do NOT belong here. Obviously you interpret things too sexually. Moderator I do believe this post was extremely inapproriate.

Dave,
Allowing only one subscription per household would prevent a husband and wife from having their own subscriptions.
People may not post but they may be reading what the rest of us are posting. I don't think that mandatory posting is necessarily a good thing.

Could the forum software send an e-mail notification about incoming Private Mail (PM)? This feature is common in other forums, but I haven't found it here.
